2026.10.16 - @SaxeMS Weekly (#338). Enjoy & have a terrific weekend! saxems.com/2026/10/16/2026-1…
8Purple has their board updated to reflect the season & many of the reflections make me happy as they are an important part of our @SaxeMS community, (or, just fun/enjoyable - especially the dogs)!

It was interesting listening to some of the Supreme Court cases that our @SaxeMS students were discussing in Ms. Baltz’s Social Studies classroom… These are important lessons to learn & a big part of our history! 🇺🇸
Not only is the official 8Green Charter on display, several other iterations are also included on the boards in the upper hallways of @SaxeMS - nice work all around!
The 7Blue Charter is a nice addition as it hangs on the bulletin board in this part of the @SaxeMS hallways!
Some may say that Art makes everything just a little bit better… Well, when you see some of the pieces that adorn the walls around @SaxeMS, I’d have to agree! 🎨
Huge shoutout & thanks to Mr. O’Leary in the NCPS Maintenance Dept for taking such great care of our @SaxeMS campus! He was here past sunset last night working on our courtyards & they look tremendous - THANK YOU!
8Red brought their “A-Game” when they updated their board this month… Not only does it tie in the spirit of the season, it focuses on connections within our @SaxeMS school community… Added bonus, even our “Start with Hello” theme made an appearance - nice work!

The @SaxeMS Library boards are always evolving & add such a nice visual element to this part of our building… Thanks to all involved! 📚
Our @SaxeMS students certainly took advantage of some of the nicest weather of the year this week as they got outside & enjoyed some fresh air, activity, & socialization during recess!
We are definitely fortunate with the scenery in the Northeast this time of year… The views around @SaxeMS are absolutely stunning, especially if you catch the time of day just right! 🍁
A special thanks to Ms. Jordan for keeping our @SaxeMS flower pots looking terrific & seasonal! 🍁 🌼
Highlight out of Hard Hittin’ New Britain last night with the CT Rangers v Rip City at Beehive Stadium. A little hustle & a little help from your friends, makes for a great out to end the inning! @SportsCenter

It was fun to see some STEM in action at @SaxeMS this week! this project reminded me of “Land Speeders” from Star Wars… Some of them really got moving & traveled quite far!
