I'm madly in love and currently on my honeymoon. We were married in November 1973. Each time I see her, I have ocular induced asthma. She takes my breath away. Wishing true love to everyone.

I see 12. I also glimpse a couple of rodents I can't settle on being rabbits.

It's always hard to say. My wife was 19 and I was 20. We have been together 53 fabulously happy years. 30 for me 23 for her. I guess we finally worked it out to be happy together. Glad you split amiably.
Update: it did not work out incredibly

I've said for a long time if you don't know what to buy a woman as a gift get a stuffed animal or a doll. (Choose one that is extremely cute.) I gave my grandmother a stuffed animal, she was surprised when she opened the gift, but she enjoyed having it.
Yes, I'm a grown woman with a stuffed toy collection. Judge me, I don't care. 😝

Many people have told their stories of how kind and generous Dolly Parton was. Her impact was much more than most people appreciate. My five-year-old granddaughter received a book from her ‘friend’ Dolly. Tonight she will be sad to have lost Dolly, but her memory will live on. Her three-year-old sister will continue to sing Jolene, even if she knows only the first two words.

Thank you for your kind words Nancy, but this book is still deep in editing, I expect it to go out next year. The cover is amazing thanks to your work. @NancyAgirl You are always spot on to what I need, and great to work with.

That is an interesting way to alert a story follows. i think I will start a similar signal with my wife. Sadly at my age I will also have to write myself a note to remind me what story I want to share.
My wife and I have a rule. If one of us quietly says, “Chapter Seven,” it means, “I have a ridiculous story about someone in this room, but I’ll tell you later.” Last month, we were at a friend’s engagement party. About halfway through the night, I froze. Across the room was a woman I briefly dated in college. I casually took a sip of my drink and whispered, “Chapter Seven.” My wife didn’t even turn around. She just smiled and said, “Blue dress?” I blinked. “You already know?” She laughed. “No.” “But you’re terrible at acting normal.” The rest of the evening, she never asked another question. We talked with friends. Ate dinner. Took pictures. Then we headed home. The second I started the car, she looked at me and said, “Alright…”

My guess is Tom
I think I have a crush on one of my characters... Can anyone guess which one? (In a parallel universe, where most of my followers have read my books, I get loads of guesses in the replies...🤣)

⚠️ Important Warning for Writers Using PayPal If you're transferring money to editors, marketers, proofreaders, or other freelancers, do not rely on PayPal. In a recent transaction, PayPal accepted my payment, immediately marked it as “complete,” then later decided they didn’t approve of the recipient. They are now holding the funds indefinitely — refusing to release the money to the intended recipient or refund it to me. They appear to treat the money as theirs once it’s in their system. This is not an isolated incident. PayPal has a well-documented history of freezing funds, delaying transfers, or outright holding money with little recourse for the sender.Recommendation: Use a more reliable payment method such as: Wise (TransferWise) Bank wire / ACH transfer Stripe Payoneer (with caution) Credit card (when possible, for better buyer protection)

To me the big question is balance of $$ to pages. $25 for a 115 page book (absurd) is a no for me. $15 for a $200 page book (reasonable) okay. Then it is the author, premise, story for me.

I do wonder how much attention readers pay to length when choosing something to read - especially when it's an ebook and they can't see the physical thickness.

Eat lots of beans and you can get lots of sounds similar to these. They will have as much to do with power and speed, and effectiveness. Or was that sound actually your kid in the back seat making pretend sounds, to play like he was a cool driver?
How do you explain this feeling to a Tesla driver? 🤣

I do. In fact I sometimes think there should be a government welfare program that assigns an effective market team that allows authors to author. But knowing government programs we would be worse off not better. Shrugging emoji.
I've read so many 'distinctly average' books with zillions of reviews. Lots of reviews means lots of sales. Which suggests to me that good marketing is more important than writing a good book. Do you agree?

Awesome to hear that. The story deserves to be there.
Now at #23 in Fantasy Adventure Fiction! 3 days of my free book offer left and another promo tomorrow! Let's see if it keeps climbing...

Well this might not help since I am angry at politics almost all the time. But I don't plan to write about them. I write tounge in cheek ghost stories. Not forked tounge stories.
What the hell has happened to my feed! It's suddenly void of book and writing stuff, and filled with political anger! Authors, readers, book lovers say hi. I need to re-train the algorithm.

India is already doing this. Solar panels above irrigation canals. Then solar panels to shade all parking lots. Then on fence lines and building surfaces. Only the on farm, hunting and recreation land.
Stop destroying rural communities and towns, farm and hunting land in the meantime. Once those things are gone they will never return. The AI data centers will eventually leave, but only urban sprawl and cultural rot will exist in their place.
