A federal judge in Miami has called a status conference this morning to hear from lawyers who say the Department of Homeland Security is leaving detainees in limbo in Alligator Alcatraz without charges and without access to the courts.

Over the weekend, the @MiamiHerald/@TB_Times obtained and published a list that is the first public accounting of who is being held or slated to be sent to the Florida-run detention center for migrants, known as Aligator Alcatraz.

On Epstein: as I've written too many times to count, there ARE massive amounts of FBI/DOJ files that have not been released, or those that are available are so heavily blacked out that they are unreadable. The FBI and DOJ can release these files (redacting the names of victims) so that the public knows what the FBI did -- and didn't do -- to investigate others involved in Epstein's sex trafficking operation. The "list" is a red herring -- but that doesn't mean there aren't names contained in those FBI files. Dozens of women were interviewed after Epstein's arrest in 2019, and a lot has happened over the past eight years since my series exposing the coverup was published in The Miami Herald.

UPDATE: The $10 million to Casey DeSantis' charity was baked into a $67 million settlement with the health giant Centene.
Under the settlement made by @AHCA_FL, $57 million went back to taxpayers.
$10 million went to her charity.
NEW: DeSantis officials diverted $10 million in a state settlement to his wife's Hope Florida charity.
His administration is refusing to say what the settlement was about, or who it involved.
