Pastors, the day is done. You can’t go back and change anything that happened today. That’s okay. Jesus will use your imperfect, faithful labors today however he chooses.
Let go. And sleep well.

If you’re vaccinated, you can still get COVID, but my gosh the odds are vastly greater that you’ll have mild or no symptoms and more likely than not avoid the hospital and certainly avoid death.

Living in Christ’s Kingdom looks like taking care of widows and orphans, advocating for the poor, improving economies, paying taxes, honoring those in authority, loving our neighbors, pursuing excellence at work, and blessing those who persecute us.

I'm taking a 1 day break from my social media detox because...it's our anniversary! Today we are celebrating 10 years! God has been so faithful and gracious to us. My wife is a good gift of His grace to me. #CueTheTonyToniTone

If you struggle to see the Lord's hand in your journey or face an uneasy future, look back over the mountain range of his faithfulness, peak after peak in your past where he came through, & then see towering over all those peaks Mt Calvary where in great love his Son died for you
I love this!
DADS ON DUTY: After a violent week of fighting at a Louisiana high school, parents knew something had to change. So, a group of dads decided to show up not just for their kids - but for the whole student body - to help maintain a positive environment. @SteveHartmanCBS has more.

Deep Discipleship turns 1 today! I’ve been so encouraged by stories from all over the world of how churches are transforming how they practice discipleship.
To celebrate I’m giving away 5 copies! To enter, just retweet this thread.

Tonight during the vigil for Willie Smith, I read the statement of the United Methodist Church on the death penalty. I wish every Christian denomination had a statement on capital punishment that’s this clear and concise.

Christians, make sure your social justice or pro-life ministry is more about Christ than that particular cause.
The cause can be misdirected or co-opted. Therefore, it must be secondary. Don’t allow the cause to disconnect from the love and truth of Jesus. #NewChristianPolitics
