Newcastle are walking into a completely different #Spurs.
Savinho has arrived. Marmoush has arrived. Fernandes pulling the strings. Tonali is hunting. Kudus is back.
And now we get to see what De Zerbi-ball looks like when the stakes are real.
Pray for Newcastle. #THFC #COYS

what a deranged thing to say to a clubs manager while you’re working press, this is like a psyop anyone close to this club genuinely doesn’t know where they are in the football landscape do they?

Aston Villa and Newcastle were the two closest clubs to consistently being at the top table, champions league etc.. Have now lost 4 of their best players combined to the Cartel 6. Game is well and truly finished for any club outside of the Sky 6. What’s the point..

#NUFC & #AVFC have lost six players to the "big six" in the last 12 months despite both clubs recently qualifying for the CL and winning a trophy. Football's financial rules are simply anti-competitive and the only people who will tell you otherwise are the ones who benefit.
🚨 Exclusive: Arsenal are closing in on a deal to sign Aston Villa defender Ezri Konsa.
The Premier League champions are in the market for defensive reinforcement with both William Saliba and Jurrien Timber currently sidelined with injuries.
England international Konsa, 28, holds particular appeal given his ability to cover at both centre-back and right-back and has been high on Arsenal’s target list all summer.

Given that the transfer to Arsenal was completed last week, I hope we can add the following to the already agreed fee:

Where’s his articles on Man United not winning a league title in over a decade? Or Chelsea spending 3B and finishing 10th whilst being proven to breach 70+ rules. #NUFC
When Saudi Arabia’s Public Investment Fund took over Newcastle United in 2021, there was bold talk about building a super club that could challenge the established elite and win major trophies.
The project started impressively but over the last year the club has missed out on top signings, seen several of its best players leave, and yesterday Eddie Howe confirmed his departure.
Is this indication that PIF’s priorities are changing? What has happened to Newcastle’s big ambitions?

An offshore company controlled by Roman Abramovich paid £6m to Eden Hazard's agent, and the Club paid £1m that was undisclosed.
According to both the Premier League and the FA, there was no sporting advantage to a career at Chelsea for Hazard (who did not benefit financially from these payments).
Purchase price £32m
Sale price £130m
Appearances 352
Goals 110
Assists 92
During that time
2 x Premier League titles
1 x FA Cup
1 x League Cup
2 x Europa League

It's interesting Everton's financial breach saw the Premier League suggest a 12 point deduction. A panel ruled the sanction at -10 before an appeal said -6
74 charges for Chelsea saw the suggested sanction of -15, greater than Everton's, but it was then worked down to 0 points
Chelsea have been fined £10m and given a suspended two-window registration ban by the Football Association for breaching rules relating to payments to agents between 2009 and 2022.
