Grok finally said the quiet part out loud. Twitter (not gonna call it X, except to point out that that's the central part of a swastika) is now undeniably a Nazi bar. Fuck this shithole, I'm outta here.
Software development conference CfPs (Calls for Papers, Presentations, etc.) closing in the next 30 days include:
RubyConf Thailand
CodeMotion Milan
PyCon South Africa
JSNation US
and many more. For details, see first comment, due to the *&^%$#@ algorithms keeping you onsite.
Today’s #Mead Adventures: Sweetened the lemon/tangerine trad rather than bottle yet. Racked the meadowfoam trad onto stabilizers and more honey. Started a pyment: 3L grape juice, .5L honey, .5L water, SG 1.104 (uncertain due to maybe-poor honey mixing), QA-23. Moar dregz!

Azure Dev Summit Lisbon is being touted as a "Mega Microsoft Developer Event". Wouldn't the Mega and Micro cancel out? ;-)
Not sure how it happened without me noticing before, but . . . the Heapcon 2024 version of my talk "Kill All Mutants! (Intro to Mutation Testing)" has been released, at:

Apparently you can reserve two tickets for the Cheeto-in-Cheef's birthday parade, per cell-phone number you give them. (Or other phone number capable of receiving SMSes, such as via Google Voice.) What a shame it would be if nobody showed up.
