Financial Ombudsman Service @financialombuds this is an open letter to you.
You still have a chance to show you can be a consumer champion. Every day people come to you because nobody else is left. They are losing homes, savings and years of their lives, and they trust you to be fair.
I asked for my own data on 18 April 2026. The law gave you 1 month. You took 5 and counting, and you gave me 2 different reasons in writing. Complexity in April. Staff shortages in September. Both cannot be true.
So here is what I am asking you to do.
Stop giving reasons that change when the wind changes.
Stop playing against the consumers you exist to protect. Stop covering up what is on these files.
Stop ruining people's lives with delay and template letters.
Release my data now. Every page of it.
I have told you what happens next if this carries on. I will take it as far as it needs to go. Every document goes public, every email, every reply, and everyone who took part in this will have to answer for what they did. I have the evidence and I have time.
You can still put this right. Do it now.

POSTMASTERS - I WANT YOUR STORY IN YOUR OWN WORDS
I have written dozens of individual stories now about postmasters and postmistresses caught up in the Post Office scandal. Different names, different branches, different towns, and somehow every one still ends the same way, a good person destroyed by a broken system with nobody at the top ever properly held to account.
I have been thinking on this idea for weeks, and instead of building it quietly on my own I want to put it out for public discussion first, so you can tell me straight if it does not work.
The idea is a fixed set of 10 to 15 questions, possibly questions that were never asked, or that never surfaced in any official account. I would love to hear what postmasters, readers, followers and subscribers all think, what questions you would want included, and whether postmasters themselves would actually have any interest in this at all.
Hundreds of postmasters and postmistresses were accused, prosecuted, bankrupted and in some cases imprisoned because Post Office Ltd trusted a broken accounting system called Horizon, built by Fujitsu, over the people who had run their branches for years. Some were cleared decades later. Some never lived to see it.
Everyone knows the headline version by now. Innocent people lost everything, a computer was wrong, nobody at the top went to prison, and the redress schemes still make people fight for money they are owed.
What is missing is the part where someone actually sits down and asks each person what happened to them, in their own words, properly, without a camera crew there for one afternoon and a deadline the next day.
It would work by email or message, answered in your own time, and published in your own words with your full approval before anything goes out. Not a five minute call for a quote. An actual record.
Some of what I would ask, just examples:
- Did Post Office investigators turn up in person demanding money on the spot.
- Did they insist on cash. Did you ever get a receipt for what you handed over.
- Were you pressured to sign something before you had a chance to read it or speak to a solicitor.
- What did losing the branch actually cost you beyond the money, your marriage, your health, your standing in a town where everyone knew your name.
And if you are reading this on behalf of someone who did not survive what was done to them, I am not asking how they died. I am asking who they were before Post Office decided they were a criminal, and what happened to them in the years after that made it impossible to keep going.
If you were a postmaster or postmistress caught up in this, or you are speaking for someone who was, send me a message or an email. If we are not already connected on Linkedin or on X @ArturNadol7566, send the connection request, it makes it easier for me to see your message.
Tell me in the comments if this makes sense to you, agree or disagree, what you think should be on the list, and what question did every journalist and every inquiry lawyer forget to ask you.

I'm afraid it's now predicted the energy Price Cap will rise 24% in January. The Cap applies to all firms' standard tariffs (bar in N. Ireland), so if you're not on a fix or special deal, you, like most people, are on it.
If you are on it, the safest thing to do is to fix, using a whole-of-market comparison such as MSE's CheapEnergyClub.com.
For far more help, including if you're already fixed, plus my interview with the Energy Secretary about what the Govt will do, watch last night’s full Martin Lewis Money Show Energy Special on itv.com/watch/the-martin-lew… itvX

THE LAUNCH OF THE INDEPENDENT PEOPLE’S TRIBUNAL OF CROSSHOUSE HOSPITAL, AYRSHIRE
Tonight at 8 p.m., midwife and whistleblower Victoria Rixon and bereaved and harmed mother Caitlin Robertson will be going LIVE to talk about the launch of the People’s Tribunal of Crosshouse.
We’ll explain:
Why we are launching the Tribunal.
What a People’s Tribunal is.
How it will work.
Who can come forward.
How testimony and evidence will be gathered.
And what we intend to do with what we uncover.
We are calling on women, families, bereaved parents, midwives and NHS staff with experiences of maternity care at Crosshouse to join us.
This is an independent, non-governmental and non-statutory People’s Tribunal. It is not a court. Its purpose is to listen, document testimony and evidence, identify patterns and create a public record.
Tonight we begin.

5 million views on my post last night.
Let me put that into perspective.
I wanted to take my own life in 2021 and 2024 with the profound stress I endured.
No one came to save me. I was alone.
I lost my career. My income. Pension. Kids security. All I’d dreamed of and worked for.
I’ve given up my life & my safety to do the right thing. I speak for the harmed, the bereaved and the lives lost under the guise of maternity safety.
I will not remain silent.
I will not sit in fear.

This is what happens when a midwife dares to speak out.
@Victoria_Rixon qualified to care for women and babies. She raised concerns because that was her professional duty.
Then look at what followed.
Grievances. Resignation. Threats. Defamation. NMC referrals. Solicitors’ letters. A data breach. Police at her home. High Court proceedings. Years of chasing documents, evidence, and answers.
People keep asking why NHS staff stay silent.
Victoria’s timeline answers that question.
This is the cost many whistleblowers are forced to carry when they challenge unsafe practice or institutional failure.
The system should protect people who raise concerns.
Instead, it destroys them first and asks questions later.
Every document should now be tested in court.
Victoria should not have to stand alone.
WHAT HAPPENS WHEN MIDWIVES DARE GO AGAINST THE NHS?
19 September 2017 — Qualified as a midwife.
21 October 2021 — Raised my first formal grievance.
2021–2022 — Raised a further three grievances.
7 February 2024 — Resigned after years of raising concerns.
March 2024 — Threatened by a Director that “whistleblowers go missing.”
March 2024 — Publicly accused of killing a baby. I did not kill that baby.
April 2024 — Further defamatory statements made about me killing a baby,
June 2024 — GDPR/data protection breach by University Hospitals Plymouth NHS Trust.
July 2024 — Malicious referral made about me to the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC).
July 2024 — Received threatening legal correspondence from Bevan Brittan solicitors.
February 2025 — Further defamation re killing a baby.
February 2025 — Devon and Cornwall Police attended my home following an accusation of harassment. I categorically deny that I harassed anyone.
March 2025 — High Court defamation proceedings.
Aug 2025 — High Court proceedings concerning the GDPR/data protection breach.
November 2025 — A colleague was referred to the NMC. I was named within that referral and defamed again. By the same individual as my previous NMC referral.
I qualified to care for women and babies.
I raised concerns because that was my professional duty.
LOOK AT WHAT FOLLOWED.
Grievances.
Resignation.
Threats.
Defamation.
Regulatory referrals.
Solicitors’ letters.
A data breach.
Police at my home.
Damage to my career and professional reputation.
Years spent chasing documents, evidence and answers.
And now — the High Court.
People constantly ask:
“WHY DON’T NHS STAFF SPEAK OUT?”
Perhaps we’re asking the wrong question.
WHAT HAPPENS TO NHS STAFF WHO DO SPEAK OUT?
What message does this send to the next nurse, midwife, doctor or healthcare professional who witnesses something they believe is unsafe?
Stay quiet and protect yourself?
Or speak up and risk everything?
I chose to speak.
I will not be frightened into silence.
Every document.
Every referral.
Every letter.
Every statement.
Every piece of evidence.
LET THE COURTS SEE IT.
This is bigger than me.
Whistleblowers must be able to raise concerns without fearing the destruction of their careers, livelihoods and reputations for daring to speak. @ArturNadol7566 @KenZeroHarm @YvetteCooperMP @andyburnham @Simonekatz4tay @BarbarasBack

BREAKING NEWS 🔥🔥🔥
Woody Harrelson urges British Prime Minister Andy Burnham to launch Covid vaccine inquiry
Woody Harrelson has signed an open letter to Andy Burnham calling for an inquiry into the Covid vaccine.
The American actor, who starred in Cheers and No Country for Old Men, joined scientists, campaigners and Pat Cash, the former Wimbledon champion, in asking the Prime Minister to reexamine the effectiveness and safety of the jab.
The signatories have urged Mr Burnham to suspend Covid vaccinations until an “independent examination” has been carried out.
“The Covid years divided families, communities, doctors and politicians,” Harrelson and others write. “Continuing to fight the same political battles will not heal those divisions.
“Finding out what happened might. You have an opportunity, at the beginning of your premiership, to approach this differently. We are not asking you to prejudge the evidence.
“We are asking you to open the door to its independent examination. If the concerns we and others have raised prove unfounded, a rigorous investigation should establish that. If they are justified, the public deserves to know. Either way, transparency is the only sustainable route to restoring trust.”
The Covid vaccines were developed in record time, with trials and analysis conducted in a few months when the process normally takes several years.
Experts insist that no corners were cut and that trials proved the vaccines were safe and effective, a finding that was then mirrored by real-world results that showed deaths plummeting after the roll-out.
Yet the jabs also triggered rare heart and clotting conditions. More than 2,000 people in Britain suffered myocarditis, inflammation of the heart, or pericarditis, heart lining, following vaccination, with young men particularly vulnerable.
Last year, Stanford University found that Covid mRNA vaccines, such as the Pfizer jab, could cause heart damage by triggering immune cells to go on the attack.
The letter was coordinated by Dr Aseem Malhotra, a British cardiologist
Pfizer said there is no evidence to suggest mRNA jabs are linked to cancer but the vaccines now carry warnings for myocarditis and pericarditis.
Other signatories include Dr John Flack, the former senior vice-president for drug discovery at SmithKline Beecham; Dr Henry Goodall, former president of the Society of Occupational Medicine; John Vincent, the co-founder of the restaurant chain Leon; and Peter Fleming, the sports commentator.

Christian Drogan didn't just film a crossing, this was the culmination of a longer undercover embed that started inside the Calais migrant camp itself.
He negotiated with the actual criminal network in France, then filmed something even Farage says he'd tried to expose years earlier like French Navy escorts taking the boat to the border before Border Force collects the life jackets and hands them back to France, ready to recirculate for the next crossing.
He also caught 4 smugglers who'd boarded with him getting quietly dropped back on the beach mid-crossing, having used the journey itself as cover to get back to shore and run the next boat.

NHS HAS A STEP-BY-STEP GUIDE FOR DESTROYING WHISTLEBLOWERS
Peter Gooderham was an academic lawyer and former doctor. He spent most of his working life trying to understand why @NHS staff who raised patient safety concerns kept ending up bankrupt, mentally broken, or both. Before he died in 2011, he sat down with Private Eye (@PrivateEyeNews) and documented the playbook in full.
It goes like this.
First, cut their secretarial support. Block their merit awards. Briefing against them informally. Tell colleagues they have attitude problems and can't move on. None of this is illegal. All of it is deliberate.
Then dig up dirt. Real or invented. Allege mental illness. The stress of the process makes this self-fulfilling, which is convenient. Refuse to disclose documents. Claim it's a local employment matter. The Department of Health will back this up because they always do.
Then apply to the Treasury for public money to pay them off and shut them up. Some gagging agreements require the whistleblower to sign statements saying all their concerns have been addressed. Even when they haven't. Even when people are still dying.
If they refuse the money, send the lawyers. Threaten libel. Throw public funds at employment tribunals, where NHS trusts are seasoned professionals and the whistleblower is walking in alone. If the trust loses, appeal. Keep appealing until the whistleblower runs out of money. The public purse is unlimited. Their savings are not.
And if none of that works, don't worry. Public inquiries are, in Gooderham's own words, belated exercises in grief management that seldom change anything. By the time one arrives, the people responsible have moved on and the problems are dismissed as historical.
The Gooderham playbook was not a historical curiosity. A @Channel4 investigation found gagging clauses in 55 of 64 NHS compromise agreements sampled. Over 40 NHS organisations refused to provide information on how many they had signed. One trust wanted over £10,000 just to produce the information. Another argued you couldn't even publish their reasons for refusing.
This is a system that was designed, iteratively, over decades, to neutralise whistleblowers.
The public funds the mechanism. The mechanism silences the people trying to protect the public. And then a public inquiry happens 15 years later and describes the culture as disappointing.
