Congratulations to President Truman on Trump’s incredible new Greenland agreement. It only took 75 years for Trump to take credit for it. 🇬🇱

🇬🇱 🇩🇰 🇺🇸 Was this the smartest con in Arctic history? The Danes and Greenlanders know perfectly well that the Trump regime is staffed by high school dropouts and people who move their lips when they read, and they know that nobody in this failed administration has the faintest idea that a 1951 agreement exists. So Copenhagen takes the old treaty out of the drawer, blows off the dust, changes the date to 2026 and adds a clause banning China and Russia, neither of whom was ever going to be invited anyway. Trump, who sincerely believes he is the sharpest mind in a movement where that is not a demanding title, promptly launches himself into orbit with a triumph he imagines will win him the midterms. He demanded an island, was sold his own lease back with a fresh cover page, and could not be more thrilled. Stay connected, follow Gandalv @Microinteracti1

So @JohnHealey_MP didn't know how many ships the Royal Navy had and, despite being a minister, didn't know how much was in the coffers. Peter principle in plain sight @andyburnham

Someone please explain to JARED KUSHNER that WARS are not BUSINESS DEALS or REAL ESTATE TRANSACTIONS And that Putin and Russia illegally INVADED Ukraine And then bombed, slaughtered, raped and kidnapped the innocent men, women and children of that proud and brave country.

Remember when the tax-free allowance was £12,500? That was in 2019. Today, it’s £12,570…just £70 higher. If it had simply kept up with inflation, it would be around £17,000 today. Meanwhile, food, rent, energy, fuel and everyday bills have all risen sharply. They can say they’ve “not raised taxes.” But they haven’t needed to. Freeze the threshold while wages and prices rise, and inflation quietly pushes more of your income into the tax system every year.

You just can’t help distorting the facts, can you? That 94.1% is a single month snapshot. Let’s look at national debt to GDP by financial year (FY) for a more accurate picture. During FY 2024/25, in which you came to power, debt (PSND) to GDP was 93.5%. Then Rachel R went on her borrowing binge. It was 94.3% in 25/26. And OBR forecasts 94.8% in 26/27 (current FY). OBR forecasts another rise to 95.7% in 27/28, up again in 28/29 to 96.3%, which is meant to be its peak. Then it’s meant to slip back to 96.1% 2029/30 — but that depends on a public sector spending squeeze that’s very unlikely to happen. We’ll see. Anyway stop saying debt to GDP is coming down. It’s not and you know it. It will rise under every year of Labour government until at least 2029/30.

A woman went to her local priest, embarrassed. “Father, my two female parrots have only learned one phrase, and they keep saying, ‘Hi, we’re prostitutes! Want to have some fun?’” “That’s awful!” the priest exclaimed. “Bring them to the rectory. I have two male parrots who spend all day praying the rosary and reading Scripture. Surely they’ll be a good influence and teach your birds some proper manners.” The next day, she brought her parrots over and placed them in the cage with the priest’s two devout birds, who were quietly holding their rosary beads and praying. Right on cue, the female parrots squawked, “Hi, we’re prostitutes! Want to have some fun?” One of the male parrots immediately stopped praying, nudged the other, and whispered: “Put the beads away, brother. Our prayers have finally been answered!”

Conveniently forgetting that the government has moved the illegal migrants from taxpayer funded hotels to taxpayer funded rental accommodation. And then there’s ’operation scatter’…
A little over two years into office and the asylum backlog is down, the number of asylum seekers in hotels is falling, illegal working arrests are at record levels, and deportations and returns are up markedly. Small boats numbers are also now falling, but we are not complacent and there is more we must do. That is why I have boosted enforcement on the French beaches and overseas, and introduced new legislation to tackle the pull factors that draw people here through unsafe and illegal routes. This government is restoring control at our border and fairness to the migration system.

Andy Burnbum wants to cap petrol and diesel cars to 50 MPH. You can still have your petrol and diesel car if you choose. However, Heir Burnham wants to fit a governor to your car so that you cannot exceed 50 MPH. I’m sorry, our Andy. Just get bloody stuffed and stop the fucking boats!!! #Petrol #Diesel

Dear @andyburnham - instead of handing out the ‘don’t rape our wives and daughters please as it isn’t nice’ pamphlet can I suggest you detain them all in camps they can’t leave, deport them within two weeks and maybe start handing out pepper spray to the actual victims………

Freedom of the press should never have been freedom to own and dominate the press. (And push constant misinformation and lies.) Media regulation. Now.

Andy Burnham says he understands the frustration people feel over illegal immigration. He obviously doesn’t- because it’s not “frustration”, it’s anger, fear and despair.
