Lost his life this day 7th.October 1940. FO. Ivor Benison Difford. South African One of THE FEW. bbm.org.uk/airmen/Difford.ht… His Hurricane collided with another. He was killed when his aircraft crashed. Age 24.

Lost his life this day 7th.October 1940. FO. Nathaniel John Merriman Barry. South African One of THE FEW. bbm.org.uk/airmen/Barry.htm His Hurricane was damaged in combat over Wrotham and he baled out. Although his parachute was seen to deploy he was found dead. Age 22.
