First review of the new year is a great slab of gloomy desert rock from Newcastle band Dunes. Really good stuff!

#DBMAOTY24 1. 'The Ghost of Badon Hill' by @SgtThunderhoof. Hard to put into words just how good this concept album is. Heavy, intelligent, atmospheric rock music that transcends labels. An absolute future classic! #stonerrock #heavypsych #metal #heavymetal #aoty

#DBMAOTY24 Final honourable mention which just missed out on a top 10 spot is 'Brick by Brick' by Wall on @APF_Records. A pummeling album of instrumental doom #doommetal #heavymetal #heavypsych #metal #aoty

Getting VERY excited about a new release coming out next week - a UK heavy psychedelic band have absolutely knocked it out of the park with their new album. Moving, beautiful, heavy. AOTY material for sure. But Hoo could I be talking about???? 👀👀👀👀 #metal #heavypsych #stoner

Lucky enough (again!) to have reviewed the new @ElephantTreee collection of rarities and demos - the 2 new tracks here have got me salivating and the fact that @magnetic_eye are reissuing 'Habits' (one of the greatest heavy albums of the last decade) even more so. Get it!

Been lucky enough to once again revisit one of the albums of my youth for @Distorted_Mag. Thanks to @terrorvision for the years of wonderful music and the completely ruined calf muscles in my legs 🫡
