#DBMAOTY24 1. 'The Ghost of Badon Hill' by @SgtThunderhoof. Hard to put into words just how good this concept album is. Heavy, intelligent, atmospheric rock music that transcends labels. An absolute future classic! #stonerrock #heavypsych #metal #heavymetal #aoty

#DBMAOTY24 2. 'The Grand Scheme of Things' by @sugarhorse666. An incredibly powerful, challenging and emotive study of grief which defies both genre and expectations. Sometimes crushing, sometimes beautiful, always brilliant. #postmetal #doommetal #metal #heavymetal #aoty
#DBMAOTY24 3. 'Maze Envy' by Civerous on @20buckspinlabel - A modern classic that blends progressive death metal with the bleakest of doom and takes it all in a whole new direction. Incredible, horrific stuff! #deathmetal #deathdoom #doommetal #metal #heavymetal #aoty
#DBMAOTY24 4. 'An Earlier Time' by @Sundrifterbc - An epic, immersive album packed with desert-rock infused, grungey, space-stoner gloriousness. Bonus points for one of the finest vocal performances of the year!#desertrock #stonerrock #doommetal #grunge #metal #heavymetal #aoty
