Digital technology expands what healthcare can do, but to make the most of that potential, different systems need to understand each other. Adding new tools is not enough if their capabilities remain isolated across the healthcare system in daily care. Microblog by @antgrasso Think of a lab result moving from one healthcare system to another. Sending the number is not enough. The receiving system also needs to know what the result refers to, which unit was used, when it was recorded, and which patient it belongs to. If that context is missing or interpreted differently, the data has travelled, but part of its meaning has not. This is what interoperability helps solve: different systems can exchange information and interpret it consistently. Standards provide a common language. HL7 FHIR (Fast Healthcare Interoperability Resources), developed by Health Level Seven International, defines ways to structure and exchange health information. DICOM (Digital Imaging and Communications in Medicine) does the same for medical images and related data. The same principle applies when information moves between clinical systems and connected devices. Data should not need to be manually “translated” every time it crosses a boundary. And understanding each other does not mean giving everyone access to everything. Privacy and authorization still determine who can see and use the information. Good interoperability lets health data move without leaving its meaning behind. #DigitalHealth #Interoperability

You and your AI do not need to split the work 50/50; what matters is the right contribution at the right moment, not an equal share. Good collaboration is not measured by symmetry, but by whether each side contributes what the task needs when it needs it. Microblog @antgrasso In practice, the balance can shift from one task to the next. A procurement team may let AI scan thousands of supplier records and flag unusual changes. Most of the volume sits with the machine. Then one case reaches a buyer who knows that a supplier is going through a temporary production change. Context changes the interpretation, and one human judgment can outweigh hours of machine processing. AI may then return to the workflow and handle the next batch. No symmetry required. Responsibility follows a different rule. If an AI-supported recommendation affects a supplier decision, the organization still owns the outcome. So do not measure collaboration by how much work each side does. Ask whether AI is handling the work it can do well and whether people enter where judgment is needed. A 50/50 split looks neat on a slide. Real collaboration follows what the work requires. #HumanAICollaboration #FutureOfWork

In production sites and distributed operations, connectivity is not just a service in the background. It can affect coordination, visibility, and continuity. Looking only at the monthly rate misses the operational cost of choosing wrong.

Supercloud does not mean a bigger cloud, but a flexible abstraction layer across multiple clouds. Applications move and operate without being tied to a single provider, which changes how cost and performance are managed. Rt @antgrasso #CloudComputing.

With its dense professional networks in high-productivity industries like finance, media, and tech, New York both creates and attracts high earners. For these professionals, the city's economy has never been better. At the middle of the income distribution, meanwhile, earnings in recent decades have risen only modestly, making the city an exemplar of what I call the Great Decompression. Because of the structural nature of the Great Decompression — rooted in technological and global economic change — no municipal policies can fully mitigate its effects. What New York policymakers can do, though, to hold onto the middle class is attempt to match the city's overall economic strength with a corresponding housing expansion. New from me @VitalCityNYC:

Where can you tokenise gold? Gold tokenisation is not only a story about blockchain, liquidity and digital assets. It is increasingly a story about jurisdiction, regulation, custody infrastructure and institutional trust. Countries and regions such as Switzerland, the EU, Liechtenstein, the UAE and the BVI are taking very different approaches to direct tokenisation, retail access, prospectus requirements and banking support. The result is that the future of tokenised gold will not be shaped by technology alone, but by the legal and financial environments that determine how these assets can scale. This matters because tokenised gold is moving from a niche experiment into a serious segment of digital finance. In Part 1 of this article, I explore how a 5,000-year store of value is becoming programmable, and why the next phase of growth will depend as much on regulatory clarity and trusted market structure as on innovation itself. How does gold tokenisation actually work? Behind every gold-backed token is a much more complex infrastructure than simply putting gold “on the blockchain.” The process begins with acquiring and securing physical gold in audited vaults, then establishing the legal and regulatory structure that defines what the token represents, who owns the underlying asset and how redemption works. From there, smart contracts can be used to create a digital representation of that gold, ideally with 1-to-1 backing. Tokens are minted when new gold enters the system and burned when it is redeemed. Independent audits, reserve verification and continuous reconciliation between on-chain supply and physical holdings are what give the model credibility. The technology may be digital, but trust still depends on very physical things: custody, regulation, audits and the ability to prove that the gold actually exists. hedgethink.com/gold-tokenisa… CC @enilev @JagersbergKnut @TysonLester @CurieuxExplorer @GlenGilmore @FrRonconii @chidambara09 @jeancayeux @mvollmer1 @Nicochan33 @RLDI_Lamy @pchamard @mikeflache @Fabriziobustama @EchoofLight11 @Mack1510019 @ipfconline1 @PawlowskiMario @drsharwood @kalydeoo @baski_LA @AnthonyRochand @smaksked @Eli_Krumova @andresvilarino @gvalan @AI_4_Healthcare @bimedotcom @arlenenewbigg @NewsNeus @domingonarvaez1 @bamitav @jornalistavitor @jblefevre60 @FmFrancoise @MHcommunicate @Corix_JC @c4trends @smoothsale @amalmerzouk @PVynckier @bbailey39 @ralf_ladner @mary_gambara

Adding more agents is easy. Coordinating their work is the harder problem. The shift is letting specialists work in parallel, share context, and bring people in when judgment or approval is needed. That feels much closer to real teamwork. @hyperagentapp #HyperagentPartner

If AI Companies cannot contain AI Shut them down NVIDIA Jensen Huang radical free market approach flip.it/OM6-kd Huang has basically landed on the “Don’t Create The Torment Nexus” approach to technological development, which seems like a pretty reasonable conclusion to land on. Unfortunately, when he explains his reasoning for that position, it’s not quite as pro-humanity as one might hope. Instead, it feels like Huang is firmly in the-free-market-is-enough-to-protect-us territory.
