I've had 40 operations from a failed surgical mesh implant & suffer w chronic pain. Been failed by state&HSE who ignore us. Housebound 11years, nobody cares about men &hernia mesh.

How it feels when you have had a hernia repair using mesh & Google the symptoms realising that you have just made the biggest mistake of your life.
The surgery failed, mesh is in a ball still inside you, the chronic pain starts that you'll have for life.

MESH- We've many victims who are very angry, keeping us from moving forward. Stress is causing more damage + increasing likelihood of immunity problems & other complications. Pariatex polyester surgical mesh was recalled due to safety concerns of every symptom I have been suffering with since it was first implanted in 2008. I made an adverse report to the MHRA but they never told me anything about this. Why? Irish government?

I have Coviden, Pariatex Polyester mesh, during implanting, they reopened an old midline scar 1 foot long. After removing the staples 10 days later the whole thing popped open exposing the unsterile mesh, the surgeon was not qualified to remove it. It was failure from the start.

My mesh was placed under the muscle, layered with multiple packs of mesh on top of my bowel. Is this the correct use of Pariatex Composite Mesh? I have since learnt that it should not be. Straight from the Medtronic website and instructions to surgeons.

This was my mesh, a Coviden Pariatex Polyester mesh which was wrongfully placed on top of my bowel. Causing everything it touched to stick together. I can't stand, walk or bend over without constant chronic pain every single day. Not good enough to be left in this condition.
