In 2014 I went to VidCon for the first time. I was super frazzled and not sure where to check in, wandering around the outdoor area. It was early in the morning and I was so, so confused.
Then I happened to walk by @hankgreen sitting on a bench and talking to a security guard.
And that was 2014. I think that year or maybe the year after we were sharing the Anaheim convention center with a sports conference (soccer? volleyball? I don’t remember).
I have been to 6 VidCons since. This year will be my 7th.
And this cool little event is now so much more.

I’m talking single person household, no family/friends able to take the dog, daycare is closed, etc.
YOU are the only option to take care of your pet, but you also have many other neighbors to consider. Walks can be skipped but bathroom breaks are necessary.
