An absolute honor to serve as the course co-director for the @ASGEendoscopy First Year Fellows Course alongside @rmulkimd. We hosted 125 fellows this weekend and it's always so energizing to see the excitement and eagerness of the new fellows. Even more so, I'm so appreciative of all of the friends, colleagues, and mentors that gave time out of their schedules to help put on an amazing course! Very very thankful to my GI family 🙏🏼

One of my favorite traditions each year is returning to the @ASGEendoscopy First-Year Fellows Course. It’s always a privilege to teach, but it’s even more meaningful when our own fellows are sitting in the audience. Watching them take their first steps into GI fellowship while having the opportunity to be a small part of that journey is incredibly rewarding. Congratulations to @ASGEendoscopy & the outstanding course directors @TomTielleman @rmulkimd for an exceptional program. These courses don’t happen without countless hours of work behind the scenes. Fellows - as you’re learning today, here’s one career goal you may not have imagined yet. One day, you may be back, not as a learner, but as faculty. Standing beside colleagues who have become mentors, collaborators, and friends. Teaching the next generation. Those opportunities often begin long before you realize they’re possible. Enjoy every moment. Your future in GI is just getting started.
