Being liberal is something to be proud of Free speech, individual freedom and equality before the law are worth defending.
We won’t apologise for standing up for them.
So for the Beechwood and Heath ward (Runcorn). Candidates I'm aware of standing:-
Independent - Myself (once my forms in)
Reform
Restore Britain
Lib Dems
A 2nd potential Independent
Labour and Tories did not stand a candidate last time, will they this time?

How about charging a subscription instead? You know, like other broadcasters without the unfair advantage of taxpayer funding?
The BBC is an established brand with some decent content - I'm not the only one who'd cough up a couple of quid a month for continued access to R4 and iplayer documentaries.

This is where these laws lead. Government rules pushing platforms to decide what art films and culture people are allowed to see online
⚠️Britain's Byzantine speech laws need to be repealed or replaced.
“If neither police nor platforms can make sense of our laws, and implement them in ways that respect our rights, surely it is a sign they are not fit for purpose?”

Britain has been held hostage by NIMBYism for far too long.
We need to build homes, infrastructure and get the country growing again.
Looking forward to this debate at the Battle of Ideas. #BattleFest

Robert Peel said it best.
To translate this quote into plain speech, "ignore your predefined opinions, ignore your own echo chamber's opinion and ignore the biased media".
We need to look across the political aisle in times like these to avoid politics becoming a war rather than a democracy.
It is time we go back to the days where we Innovated. We were world leader during the Industrial revolution. We need to be a world leader again, whether that be in Financials, AI, or anything else we can lead on.

Foreign policy shouldn’t mean getting close to authoritarian regimes. It should be about freedom open markets and basic rights. Governments that work with dictators weaken the values that keep people free
It's an utter disgrace that my MP has not yet resigned.
If he not going to resign then the Speaker of house of commons needs to hurry up and implement a Recall.
