First day of work in Paris. It's only one day, but I've never seen the business district of Haussman so ... may I say sad and lackluster? It's always been dour, but a grand dour. Now it's just down And Paris at night is DARK. Is it possible they've doused the lights? A 4thrate city in Israel is better lit at night than the Porte Maillot. But it's pretty. Clean. Chic. I want Paris so badly to survive, even if it doesn't love me anymore. Like an ex who's become a mean drunk? It's the illness speaking. * I wasn't dreaming. They DO turn off the lights at night.

Today, I saw the end of civilization. Not because of the wild looters trying to kill cops (who are forbidden to defend themselves). Because the mass of the French DON'T UNDERSTAND THEY'RE AT WAR. We spent a great Shabbat, thank you. The dire warnings of the synagogue security chief sounded exaggerated as we crossed a huge swath of Western Paris about noon. People running. People in cafés and terraces. People walking their dogs. Cool and sunny. Paris autumn crisp air. My old haunts, populated by kids who look remarkably similar to what we were. A quiet and nice family afternoon, a spit away from the EiffelTower. The best version of the day I wanted when I bought the airplane tickets. But after Shabbat we opened the TV. And we saw the end of civilization.

Because too many French are like frogs (no pun intended) in soon boiling water

The speed at which Musk suicided Starlink is incredible, all to save Trump who in turn aims to save Putin.
🇵🇱 NEW: Poland is preparing to develop its own alternative to Elon Musk’s Starlink, potentially in cooperation with other European countries. Deputy Defence Minister Cezary Tomczyk revealed today that: • Initial offers have already been received. • Funding has been secured, according to the minister. • The proposed technical architecture is being planned. • A formal project announcement could come within the next few months. The system would initially serve Poland’s military, followed by security services, government institutions and potentially the wider European market. The announcement comes amid controversy over restrictions on Starlink and Starshield services used by Ukraine. Tomczyk argued that Poland cannot remain dependent on a single individual controlling critical communications infrastructure. Importantly, the project remains in the planning stage. No operational satellite network or final contract has been announced.

BIG | 🇺🇸🇺🇦🇷🇺‼️ Donald Trump has accused Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky of not wanting to end the war, while defending his decision to avoid new measures against Russia and criticizing Ukrainian strikes on Russian oil refineries. In a lengthy Truth Social statement, Trump argued that signing a new Russia-related measure could disrupt ongoing peace negotiations. He claimed significant diplomatic progress had been made and suggested that Moscow’s limited assistance to Iran was another reason to avoid increasing pressure on Russia. Trump also blamed Ukrainian attacks on Russian refineries for disrupting global diesel markets and harming American farmers and businesses. He accused Zelensky of disregarding those economic consequences and claimed that Ukraine could have secured a better agreement two years earlier. The American president further asserted that Ukraine had lost access to the sea, despite the country retaining its Black Sea coastline and the major port of Odesa. “Zelensky does not want this war to end, and probably never did,” Trump wrote, according to the supplied statement. 🔥 Trump’s remarks reveal a fundamental disagreement over how to pressure Russia into ending the war. His argument prioritizes keeping Moscow at the negotiating table and protecting energy markets, while Ukraine considers strikes on Russian oil infrastructure a means of weakening Russia’s capacity to finance its invasion. His assertion that Ukraine has no access to the sea is factually incorrect, and his accusation about Zelensky’s intentions remains an unsubstantiated political claim. BIG | 🇺🇦🇺🇸‼️ Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has accused Donald Trump of pressuring Ukraine toward capitulation, revealing that Washington rejected Kyiv’s proposal to halt strikes on Russian oil refineries in exchange for Patriot interceptor missiles. According to Zelensky, the Trump administration wants Ukraine to unilaterally stop attacking Russian energy infrastructure without offering anything in return. “We offered to stop striking Russian oil refineries in exchange for Patriot missiles. But they only want us to stop the strikes unilaterally, offering nothing in return. And if we strike, they will disconnect us from something. If we agree, they will take away another right,” Zelensky said. Speaking to Bloomberg, the Ukrainian president revealed that Ukraine currently purchases just 12 Patriot interceptor missiles from the United States each month, approximately one-quarter of the monthly quantity supplied under the Biden administration. He emphasized that Ukraine has already paid for the weapons, although some deliveries have been approved while others remain pending. “I don’t want to believe that the Americans consider it appropriate to end the war faster at Ukraine’s expense, but that is exactly what it looks like,” Zelensky stated. He also suggested that relations with Washington could improve after the U.S. midterm elections, arguing that Trump currently cannot compel Putin to end the war. 🔥 Zelensky’s accusations highlight a fundamental dispute over the conditions for ending Russia’s invasion. Kyiv argues that being pressured to abandon strikes on Russian infrastructure without receiving additional defensive capabilities would weaken its position. The reported reduction in Patriot missile deliveries adds another concern, particularly as Ukraine continues defending its cities and critical infrastructure against Russian aerial attacks. 🚨 BREAKING: Zelenskyy doesn't want to end the war and probably never did, Trump says Here's what the US president just posted on Truth Social: 🔵 “My decision on Russia is a very simple one. I am in the process of negotiating Peace in the war between Russia and Ukraine, and don’t want to do anything that will drive, foolishly, Russia away from the bargaining table. Great progress is being made, and that includes current hostage negotiations!” 🔵 “Signing that document at this time will do that, and I can sign it later, or any time that I want!” 🔵 “Lastly, Zelenskyy is using Diesel Refineries in Russia as a target, knowing that these attacks are seriously hurting the world diesel markets, including those in the United States.” 🔵 “Zelenskyy doesn’t care, and frankly, with all of the money that Europe is famously giving him, and that Crooked Joe Biden gave him in the past, he doesn’t want to end this war, and probably never did.” 🔵 “He could have made a better deal two years ago than he can now. His country is in shambles, a large portion of his land is lost, his oceans and seas are gone, and his male population is low, wounded, and/or dead.”

This is what the end of civilization looks like... These are the words of billionaire Bill Ackman, who was shocked by what is happening in France. And we are all equally shocked as we watch riots, robberies, fires, and looting by out-of-control gangs wreaking havoc across French cities. NEXTA has compiled the footage that has gone around the world today into one video.

❗️Washington, through the U.S. Ambassador to the EU, warned that European businesses could face serious losses and a “destructive” response if the EU restricts American companies—particularly SpaceX—access to its satellite spectrum market. Elon Musk’s SpaceX previously stated that such a move risks degrading the quality of communications in Ukraine, where Starlink provides vital links for the civilian population and the military (according to Financial Times).
