When God calls you to something new he challenges you to leave something comfortable? #LessonsfromAbram

It was a decision once, it IS a decision daily. BUT his mercies are NEW everyday and His grace is sufficient for me. #SanctificationISSurrender

"If anyone would come after me, let him deny himself and take up his cross daily and follow me." Luke 9:23 “Daily”? There is a once-for-all death with Christ: “Our old self was crucified with him” (Romans 6:6). But also a daily “Consider yourselves dead to sin.” Romans 6:11

Yes, agree with this ALL Day, not a CEO and peoples spiritual and emotional well-being is at stake when the church is ALLOWED to operate under no true Elder authority/accountability or balance.

The whole James MacDonald fiasco is a good reminder (to me, minimally) that the primary quality of being a pastor is not giftedness but character. Shepherds who don’t live with brokenness & vulnerability have no right to pastor broken people.

One morning in 1957, as a freshman at Cornell, I ushered at a church service featuring Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. I'll never forget Dr. King's warm greeting and his sermon about peace, love, and goodwill. His message is eternal. #MLKDay #ServantLeadershipInAction #ServantLeader

Incredible last-second TD from Miami to beat the Patriots
To be Spirit directed you must STOP and Listen...Spend more time seeking WHY rather than rushing on to the WHAT and the HOW #StopandListen

When God asks a question, He isn’t launching an interrogation; He’s staging an intervention. “Adam, where are you?” “Cain, where is your brother?” “Hagar, where have you come from & where are you going?”
When angry, ask this: What do I fear? Or How am I hurt? You just might get anger under control.
