Phenomenal program, @UTSW_Radiology we're lucky to partner with fellows from this program both for clinical and research purposes
Check out our UTSW Urologic Oncology fellowship program. With one year of protected research time and a high volume clinical year, this program gives you all the tools you need to become a world class surgeon-scientist. youtu.be/GtfOkjUtNXI

With #ProstateMRI even when you're "wrong" you're right nearly 2/3 of the time according to doi.org/10.1097/ju.000000000… @tanejauro and colleagues found #ProstateCancer in 63% of men on follow-up for initial negative biopsy for #PIRADS 4 or 5

In-bore MRI-targeted biopsy may be preferred to fusion biopsy should performing only targeted biopsy of suspicious lesions, without concurrent systematic biopsy, be considered clinically appropriate. ajronline.org/doi/abs/10.221…

Dear @radiolobt thanks for highlighting our work. Very proud of our MS N. Subramaniam who has put together an informative and visually appealing paper showing that # of cores matters even with a 🎯 targeting technique. @UTSW_Radiology @ivpedrosa @RofskyMD @AlbertoDiazde14

Exactly 10 years ago I was having a breakfast with @RofskyMD in Chicago that would be a turning point in my life. A great turning point 😁. These are things that the virtual environment does not allow but we're thankful for it and will be ready to socialize when appropriate
#RSNA20 is now in session! Reply if you're attending and tell us where you're from. Feel free to share a selfie. 🤳 #WeAreRadiology

THANK YOU to all our rad techs who are our face to the patients and without who we would not be able to do our work, before, during and after covid-19, we appreciate you!!! @UTSW_Radiology

Prostate cancer is public priority. However, less than half of the European men (48%) know about the risk of prostate cancer. That's why we need campaigns like #Movember to inform men about the importance of early #prostatecancer testing. uroweb.org/guideline/prostat… #eauguidelines

Anterior base lesions are among the toughest to properly sample. First core was GG1 then increasing volume of GG2 for cores 2-4. Blood in the bladder was very obvious. Patient recovered well. @UTSW_Radiology

Where's Waldo? The prostate background can certainly be distracting on T2WI as @Purysko discusses on ajronline.org/doi/abs/10.221…

DCE frequently not helpful in these cases

Thankfully DWI saves the day. High volume GG2 on fusion targeted cores, all systematic cores negative, well executed by @clausroehrborn @UTSWUrology

We're frequently asked why offer in-bore biopsies when other targeting approaches work well. We're also asked why care about very small lesions. #ProstateCancer size doesn't always matter. @StevenSRaman_MD @RofskyMD @ivpedrosa
