There's a seller on @AmazonUK named "the manufacturer", so it shows up like this on product pages 😱
Reported an obvious fake review to @AmazonUK (generic text, kept referring to "the product" being "great for its purpose" with no specifics). Got this back.
If they can't accept the obvious ones, how will they get the ones that spent a pennies on non-generic fake reviews 🙃
I'm not sure I want AI in my browser, but if I'm going to have it... can it at least be able to automatically and silently hide any YouTube videos from my homepage/search results that have thumbnails containing a shocked face with their mouth open? 🙃

We’ve pieced together something special... Flutter 3.47 is officially here! 🩵
This release includes:

🧩 Impeller as the default renderer for desktop
🧩 Stable Widget Previews

For some definition of "locally" 😆
Qwen3.8 can now be run locally! 🔥
We shrank Qwen3.8-2.4T-A95B from 4.9TB to 397GB (-91% size) via Dynamic 1-bit by selectively quantizing layers
Run on 410GB+ RAM/VRAM via Unsloth Desktop
Qwen3.8 rivals GPT-5.6 Sol

Godot's Third Person Shooter demo, ported to Flutter Scene as a fun stress test.
Running in Flutter 3.47 on Flutter GPU and Impeller, the built-in graphics stack.
617 MiB of cooked content. 1,795,763 unique vertices, 659,079 unique triangles, 320 collision meshes, 23 punctual lights. Converted to Scene's own scene description format for AOT baking.
The lighting doesn't look as moody as the original and needs a bunch of adjusting. Way too much light spilling in from the environment map... But a pretty decent port so far!
What could go wrong? 😞
Buzz looks interesting, but agents belong in sandboxes (at least, it should be an option).

You may have seen this if you were at flutterCon last week, but this endless runner is a vanilla Flutter app. :)
Dashsurfers (...name subject to change) is a little 3D game built with Flutter Scene, running in real time at 120 fps. The rendering, the particles, the UI, all Flutter.
I've had loads of @LGUK products in the past and said good things about them, but they're going on the list to avoid now.
Plugging in a monitor should not be auto-installing software to show me ads for crapware that they're being paid to peddle.

I ordered a Crucial 2TB external drive in January. At the time, prices were:
Crucial X10 2TB: £159
AmazonBasics 2TB: £143
Today the prices are:
Crucial X10 2TB: £224
AmazonBasics 2TB: £419 <-- WTF?
All prices are "Sold by Amazon" prices.
Finally hit 100% on @tiny__GS SatDex! 🙂
(well, until some other satellite is added)
Still seems nuts that you can collect data packets from satellites with a homemade antenna of cheap brass rods
There are 2 features that would make me pay for @YouTube Premium instantly:
1. Ability to hide channels from search results (there's so much AI-generated crap in tech results)
2. Ability to hide videos that contain certain phrases in titles ("Do this instead")
