I like this sculpture at Glasgow Central. Has a certain 'mon then' energy to it... friendly, with arms wide open to welcome visitors but with an air of John Smeaton's "This is Glasgow, we'll set aboot ye" if you act like a daftie

Remember the bedlam when Donati scored ?
Wait.... Is that an accidental handball by a teammate directly before a goal being tapped in....
Being allowed....
......AGAINST CELTIC?
The paranoid fans of Scottish football said that doesn't happen??
.@KilmarnockFC are level before the break! 🔥
A back post tap-in for Bobby Wales has turned this game around 👀

Martin O'Neill, Michael Nicholson, and Brian Wilson recently attended AGM of the Association of Irish #Celtic Supporters Clubs and minutes have now been released.
“Michael Nicholson took the question and advised of the difficulty in dealing with agents, competing with the Premier League and even the Championship.
“He advised that the easy signings are the players who are out of contract, and these are being worked on immediately. Without any real hint of active engagements with potential players.
“Martin O'Neill then proceeded to confirm that he has put to the board that we are in major need of signings, as the current squad, despite their heroics last season, are not strong enough to compete.
“He mentioned the focus on finding talent and developing it, because targets he has identified already, were difficult to attract to Glasgow.
“He also pointed out that our better chances are a younger player, who will take the gamble in Glasgow, purely to play in Europe. They have better drive, ambition and are more suited to Celtic because they can be developed and aren't swayed as much by wages.”

Watching people on the Left literally celebrating Ann Widdecombe's death. Watching supporters of Reform trying to weaponise it to further deflect from the Farage probe. What's the point. Genuinely. What are we all doing here. What are we actually achieving.

Scotland are probably wishing they tried to score more than one goal against Haiti.

if Scotland win, Mondays will be removed from the calendar. The Wallace Monument will crack open to reveal the man himself sleeping inside. Midges will vanish. Ben Nevis will grow taller and - awoken by the shaking earth - Nessie will surface and walk to Johnny Foxes in Inverness
Why did @theSNP Govt agree to Bank Holiday today in Scotland for qualifying for World Cup. What happens if they win? A week off work?

This is what Celtic Football Club is all about. 💚
Young Theo has been in hospital since birth, has sadly undergone over 200 operations in his short life. He is blind and brain damaged due to everything he has had to endure, and on April 1st he celebrated his 5th birthday.
His dad sent this into us and told us to share it with the Celtic family.
Every single year, Celtic players make the effort to go and see him in hospital, but this year was extra special… this year they brought the league trophy with them. 🏆🍀
Just imagine that moment. A little boy who has spent his entire life fighting battles most of us could never even begin to understand, surrounded by the smiles, voices and love of the players from the club he and his family adore.
People can say what they want about football, but moments like this remind you that Celtic is so much more than just a football club. It’s community, compassion, humanity and love.
This club really pulls at your heart strings sometimes.
From everyone at The Parkhead Faithful, we are sending all our love and strength to the brave little champion and his family. YNWA 💚

I understand the emotion around a huge penalty decision in a massive game. Football does that to people.
But at some point emotion has to give way to evidence. When freeze frames, angles and clear contact are sitting right in front of us, denying it because it doesn’t suit your team or narrative just kills any honest debate.
What’s even worse is when professionals and pundits, who know the game inside out, deliberately drive a narrative to suit an agenda rather than analyse what’s actually in front of them. That only fuels tribalism and misinformation.
You can debate consistency. You can debate interpretation. But you can’t just ignore unrefutable evidence because it’s inconvenient. Football discussion is far better when honesty matters more than point scoring.

Scottish football’s digital rights summed up here.
A non-blackout game which is sold out and not on PPV.
Neither the clubs, the league nor the broadcasters can tweet out the goals.
So it’s some random account that’s posting it.
Totally Farcical.
