“The clack of claws on stone drained the blood from Ardo’s face. As the dark shape emerged into the light from the amulets, he saw dirty black scales, yellow eyes the size of dinner plates, and teeth like jagged shards of broken pottery.”

Yesterday I learned that the Eddie Bauer website lists their stores by the indigenous lands the stores are built on. Never actually seen that on a corp website before.
This is one of the easier contests to enter. And who doesn’t love owls? 🦉

Drafted my blurb for Cloti’s Song, a steamy romantic fantasy featuring a married throuple in their fifties who consider taking on a fourth. It’s set in an occupied city and is a sort-of sequel to Wings so Soft but could be read as a standalone. February 2024.
ALT Moodboard for Cloti’s Song. From top left: a heart, a red silk rose, a lip print, a fragmented head, the title, a meditation figure, a scroll and feather pen, a candle, an eye.

'Yumi and the Nightmare Painter is magically experimental. It’s like a manhwa written by Brandon Sanderson, featuring vivid imagery, overflowing creativity, and plenty of drama.'
