Today I finished @SledgevsBooks The Wendigo - absolute carnage! Totally lived up to expectations 🤘🏼 If you need any trigger warnings, walk on by - seriously! No punches pulled. High octane adrenaline & unrelenting badassery. Nobody writes action better than Nick Horvath 👊🏼

Full review to come when I can sit down and work out how to even begin reviewing this book. So much fun. Just monstrous in every way. And while fans of Sledge will accept nothing less than 95% skull-crushing pulverisation, there was a little bit of heart thrown in there too 👀

I'm sadly coming to the end of this book, I've savoured every page. A book so badass, my kindle recently died for 2 days (obviously knocked TF out by Sledge) who remained on the front screen until fixed 👊🏼 So brutal and fun, loved every minute of it so far. @SledgevsBooks

I miss the 2019-2023 community experience. 100+ views on reviews. So many conversations. I created a book bingo & someone in Spain made and stitched the designs onto her denim jacket! Every day there were giveaways, reviews, engagement all over the TL. Norsevember RIP 😭

Reading Sledge @SledgevsBooks is cathartic. It's not just a high-octane, funny, irreverent power slam of a read but it restores hope. Nick Horvath unashamedly reinvigorates the power of masculinity without sinking into the toxic "manosphere" and it's incredibly refreshing.

When I finished my night shift, exhausted after 13 hours on Wednesday morning, I thought, "what would Sledge do?" The answer is to go on a vengeful rampage, but the next best thing was to hit the gym. I'm convinced reading this book gave me that extra motivation 💪🏼

I'm thinking of leaving X or just not using it anymore. All I see are news stories and videos about that make me angry. Posts get almost zero engagement even with 6,000 followers built up over several years. I want to help authors and talk books but this place is a cesspit.

You're not ready for this! Feeling lucky to have been sent an advance copy - already after a few chapters this is high octane, brutal AF, Sin City on roids. Pairing the Spotify playlist is a game changer too and creates a killer atmosphere. 🤘🏼
