Give Dubois his flowers, but credit Fabio Wardley. He gate crashed pro boxing, claimed a British championship, put himself into position to be a world titleholder, and was one half of two of the most entertaining all-British heavyweight wars in the past decade. He is just amazing! 🇬🇧🥊🇬🇧

All before the age of 30. Ducks nobody. Is always entertaining.
Appreciate what he's doing because not a lot of people are doing it like him

I’ll always give Dubois credit for the career he has had. Win, lose, draw he will fight anyone. He reminds me of the throwback heavyweights from the 80’s and 90’s in that respect.

Dubois is a real fighter. He’s had some horrific losses but he’s also not afraid of losing. Not even 30, he’s had far more important and meaningful fights than many of the supposed pound-for-pound best. And that will be reflected in his bank account, as it should be.

Fun fact. A. Year prior to this fight All Time Great Roberto Duran beat Jorge Castro at 168 in 1997
So just think about that for second
Duran made his debut near the 118 limit in 1968
Beat Ernesto Marcel at 130 in 1970
Dominated 135 for a decade
Beat Leonard at 147 in 1980

Its funny all these belt holders should have been fighting each other to try and go undisputed but they lack what Inoue has. There should have been at the most only two belt holders by the time Inoue got there. So sad. That being said I think its Shu Shu although I would love to see Inoue travel to Mexico and fight the number 1 guy in Espinoza.

Bernard Hopkins vs. Félix Trinidad. September 29, 2001 Madison Square Garden, New York.
Félix Trinidad entered unbeaten in 40 fights. Bernard Hopkins was 36, had spent years defending his middleweight crown, and was still the underdog.
Originally scheduled for September 15, the fight was postponed following the September 11 attacks. Hopkins held the WBC and IBF titles, while Trinidad brought the WBA belt.
Hopkins relied on timing, positioning and intelligent distance control to frustrate Trinidad’s dangerous offense. Their tenth round was later named The Ring’s Round of the Year.
Hopkins stopped Trinidad in the 12th to become the first undisputed middleweight champion since Marvin Hagler.
For a fighter who had spent years defending his title without widespread recognition, this was the victory that finally put his greatness beyond question.

Xander had 2 belts, could have just fed off giving 25% as mandos were called while sneaking in puff fights for extra cash… instead gave 50% off the rip to Boots of all people just to get shit signed in a week. 🐺
Some of you celebrate weird shit when picking guys to back…

The brilliant Puerto Rican Felix Trinidad was 40-0 (33) and on the hottest of hot streaks.
#OnThisDay in 2001 he was installed as the 2/1 favourite against long-time middleweight leader Bernard Hopkins and his purse of $9m dwarfed the $2.5m promised to his opponent.
Almost all observers picked Trinidad to win. Hopkins did not care. In the best performance of his long and brilliant career, he oozed greatness as he picked holes in Trinidad before stopping him in the 12th at Madison Square Garden.
It was of course an emotional night for all involved: This climax to the World Middleweight Championship Series had originally been scheduled for September 15, only to be postponed after the 9/11 terror attacks.
Trinidad was in such bad shape after the 10th round that the ringside doctor asked him if he was capable of fighting another round.

So AJ and Tyson Fury’s contracts apparently stated that Dana White couldn’t be involved.
AJ signed it, and now Tyson is saying HE took that clause out because “fuck ’em” 😵💫
Which by doing so, it has created more annoyance & confusion, yet somehow AJ is the one being blamed? 🙂
