Having been a delegate at the @youngbuspros conference for many years, it was a great pleasure to be speaking at this year’s conference in Newcastle about my career to date and to talk about how @northstarbuses has developed in the last 12 months. 🤩
Great to be joining our friends @StagecoachNE to run shuttle buses from local schools for the “My Future; My Choice” careers fair in Newcastle today. Fantastic for two operators - small and large - to be partnering to provide this service. 👍🏻
@northstarbuses has provided 3 of its Trident/ALX400 on hire to Stagecoach today to operate services to the jobs fair at St James Park.
411/D22 NST & 416/T80 NST outside St James Park and all 3 lined up at Ord St Coach Park (add 415/T70 NST).

A busy day yesterday for the team @northstarbuses with early school finishes for the last day of term, school trips to the cinema, and additional buses out to support @My_Metro during the current disruption in Gateshead. Fantastic effort from the entire team.

Together with other operators, we are assisting with an emergency @My_Metro Replacement service between Newcastle and Heworth owing to the current issues in Gateshead.
Everyone is working hard to keep the region moving in the lead up to Christmas.

With 412 (D24 NST) having now passed MOT, we have six blue buses in service which will enable the final two non-liveried buses to be sent away for repaint. 🤩🎨

School holidays are an ideal time for the Northstar team to have their annual leave, so I’m doing some driving this week… Nice warm bus for my morning stint! 🚌
It’s been a few weeks since I last posted but it’s business as usual here @northstarbuses, with preparation work also underway for the next part of our expansion. Great efforts from the team to celebrate Halloween next week!

Fantastic day helping out alongside Arriva, Go North East and Stagecoach for the annual Great North Run. I can't remember the last time I saw an independent operator running shuttle buses on such a prestigious contract, which in itself is extremely high praise for @Dan3942.
Great to be able to support the region’s major bus operators and our friends @My_Metro by running additional shuttle bus services from South Shields to Newcastle this afternoon.
