We were approached by @TheGoAheadGroup company Dales and Distict (part of @EYBuses) to create some publicity around their service change for long-running service 73 between Northallerton and Bedale. We created a stylish guide with matching roadside and web timetables with the 'North Riding' branding, giving these North Yorkshire bus stops a refreshing look. Cartography (a posh way of saying maps) is a skill that I have improved on over the last few years. Maps are one of the most crucial parts for an operator, showing how networks link up and promoting onward travel and therefore more journeys. How many people see a bus route going past their house and know that it goes from A to B, but they work at C, and think it's no good for them. A quick glance at a map can show them that a change of bus would allow them to get wherever they need to be with ease.

Something hits different when you're driving a bus wearing your design, helped of course by voodoo blue looking amazing already.

It's all about the little details that finish a project. With more of the Transporabus fleet now wearing Voodoo Blue, it feels right that the old 'Transpora' branding with something that feels much more fresh. What a rail-y good day! From emergency runs between Ershington and Bedlington to a cheeky few hours on the Metro 😀 I spend so much time pretending to be a train these days, may as well be a train driver by default

It's been a busy few months with East Yorkshire and Great Scenic Journeys helping with the introduction of the new open top tour of Scarborough, not to forget the new-look Beachcombers and of course the new electric fleet. They all look stunning, even if I say so myself.

It was huge fun shocking the dock last night, months of hard work have finally paid off - well done to everyone involved. The buses look great (biased view) and the launch event was out of this world!

Delighted to be working with Go North East again, with both printed and online timetables ahead of their 22 March service changes; including a revamped online style making the information clearer and simpler to understand with the addition of a helpful route map too!

A nice relaxing afternoon plodding round between Sunderland and Hebburn. Not long to go before the 599 passes onto its new operator, but it's lovely to hear all the positive praise for the past 18 months of service!

The end of an interesting week and a new rail line ticked off for my replacement work. Definitely one of the more niche lines I've covered, and longest too!

In true New Years' style, I'm spending January 1st in Scotland (just) - first time driving a bus here though
