Great first day yesterday for the #UKNationalParkRangers Conference here in the #NorthYorkMoors. Fuelled with cake the ranger teams braved the weather to explore our diverse landscapes and learn about our conservation projects on the ground and skill share. 🙂🍰 @uknationalparks

#WesternRangers Calum and Ed have been out tackling rising water levels at #TreasonfieldFord. The Ford can be quite deep at times and due to the constriction at the bridge spreads up the track in either direction... work begins!
Richard the #Ranger has been keeping our #Dalesvolunteers busy undertaking repairs to treads on Bolton Priory bridge at #BoltonAbbey.
#WesternRangers enlisted the help of the #WestDalesVolunteers, #WestmorlandDalesApprentices and #schoolworkexperiencestudents to replace the boardwalk at #MossyBottom near #DentHead. Done over a few months in the rain, sun, wind, hail and midgies!
#Ranger Nathan and the #Dalesvolunteers were out again braving the wild and foggy weather of #Ingleborough to take out old decking.
Following a request from #WoodlandTrust to improve the steep footpath that descends down to bridge over #HebblethwaiteHallGill, Hebblethwaite Hall Wood, Dowbiggin, Sedbergh, the #WestDalesVolunteers and #WestmorlandDalesApprentices sprang into action!

Having patrolled the northern Dales this weekend it was reassuring to see people heeding government advice. Thank you. grough.co.uk/magazine/2021/0…
An exciting opportunity to join our #rangers in supporting the upcoming Tees-Swale naturally connected project. Working in Swaledale you may be one step from your dream career as a National Park Ranger. @yorkshire_dales northeastjobs.org.uk/job/Acc…
Did you find much work for our Cumbrian #rangers? Wouldn't want them getting short of work!🤣
One of my roles as a @yorkshire_dales volunteer is to survey the miles without stiles routes. Yesterday I was out and about at Killington Bridge, nr Sedbergh assessing an easy wheelchair accessible route.
