Only First Class and Second Class Upper graduates should qualify to become teachers. Teachers’ starting salaries should be a minimum of ₦500,000 per month.
Teachers should be required to take professional qualification examinations every two years.
There should be an Education Bank where teachers can access very low-interest loans for car financing, home financing and other essential needs.
Teaching should be one of the most prestigious and highly respected professions in the country.

Well done sir 🙌🏽🙌🏽
Extra mile energy, all week long.
Last week marked the Global Customer Service Week, themed Going the Extra Mile, exactly what JAMB has been living through conversations with the people and institutions that matter to our work, all aimed at making JAMB work better for #ThePeopleWeServe.
✅ In the week's biggest engagement, I met with CBT centres nationwide, alongside our Zonal Directors and State Coordinators, to hear their concerns and agree on ways to give every candidate a better experience from registration to exam day.
✅ I held strategic talks with the Accountant-General of the Federation on strengthening payroll, financial management, remittances and fiscal accountability.
✅ I met with the Executive Chairman of the Federal Character Commission to discuss fairness, equal opportunity and access for Nigerians, and reaffirmed our commitment to federal character principles.
✅ I held high-level talks with the Director-General of the National Orientation Agency on a partnership to combine the Agency's grassroots reach with JAMB's access to millions of young Nigerians, promoting accurate information and examination integrity.
✅ I inaugurated the committee on the assessment of underage candidates and joined its screening panels, with interviews for the 2026 cohort now under way.
✅ I held a series of engagements with technology partners, old and new, to explore solutions that make our services faster, simpler and more reliable.
Every engagement had one goal: a more responsive, efficient and people-focused JAMB for #ThePeopleWeServe.
Every year, students fall victim to this EXPO scam. I really hope something is done to address the issue once and for all.
Addressing Misinformation To Protect Examination Integrity
The Registrar, Prof. Segun Aina, held talks with the National Orientation Agency on a possible partnership to promote accurate public information and protect the integrity of JAMB examinations.
Every year, candidates are targeted with fake "expo" offers, result upgrade scams and false news about registration and results. With the NOA's reach across the country, accurate information can get to candidates and parents before the fraudsters do.
When accurate information leads, trust has a stronger foundation.

Why will leaders keep denigrating citizens will food packs.
Isn’t it time they create a sustainable means of livelihood for citizens
STOMACH INFRASTRUCTURE!!!
Dear @Sen_AdeolaYAYI ,
The people of Ogun State have outgrown this type of “stomach infrastructure” as a form of empowerment.
In 2026, residents deserve more than campaign-branded food items and a 4kg bag of garri presented as political support.
Senator Yayi can do better. The real question is: what lasting impact will this have on the lives of the people? The garri will be consumed within days, but residents will still be confronted with unemployment, poor infrastructure, inadequate healthcare, insecurity and other challenges.
Empowerment should be about creating opportunities, supporting businesses, improving education, building quality infrastructure and implementing programmes that can improve lives sustainably.
Residents should look beyond the temporary value of a bag of garri and demand accountability from those seeking their support. A token gift should never be allowed to determine the value of a person’s future or civic expectations.
To the people of Ogun State: receive whatever is offered to you if you need it, but remember that your civic choices and expectations are worth far more than a temporary gift. Ask what has been delivered, what is being promised, and what lasting benefits will remain after the campaign is over.
Ogun deserves meaningful development, not just campaign-season gifts. #SayNo4kgofGarri

As someone who prepares students for UTME and also mentors students, I know how many have struggled with lost SIM cards or being unable to access their JAMB CAPS.
This latest move by JAMB is genuinely commendable. 👏🏾
The current administration has been addressing some of the real challenges candidates face, and I must give credit where it’s due.
I applaud this one. @profsegunaina @jamb_hq
Lost access to your registered SIM or email? JAMB has reviewed its policy to allow candidates with genuine cases to update their GSM number and/or email address through a secure and controlled process.
The service commenced on 21 September 2026 and is available only at designated JAMB CBT (PTC/PRC) Centres, including State Offices where applicable.
In this post, we break down who can use the service, what you need and the steps to follow.
📌 Please note: The service can be accessed only once and is subject to strict identity and biometric verification.
For your security, use only designated JAMB centres and avoid unauthorised persons or channels.

✅ We also inaugurated the JAMB UTME Committee to consider the inclusion of Life Skills and Critical Thinking in the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME).
✅ We hosted the DICON team, exploring opportunities to strengthen institutional partnerships
✅ On Friday, we signed an agreement with NECO, NABTEB and NBAIS on the upload of O’Level results, an important step towards making the admission process more seamless for candidates.
✅ We also held a meeting with the Admissions Department and received teams and stakeholders working across education assessment and digital engagement.
Every meeting, partnership and training session is ultimately about one thing: making JAMB work better #ForThePeopleWeServe
