A day in the life at Da Book Joint 📚✨
Chicago has always been a city built by entrepreneurs. This Chicago Small Business Week, we’re celebrating Courtney Woods - a small business co-owner creating opportunity, culture, and community through business.
Courtney and her mom co-own @DaBookJoint, an independent bookstore creating space for culture, literacy, dialogue, and community connection in Chicago.
From unboxing and restocking new inventory to gathering in community for powerful conversations — this is what it looks like when a bookstore is more than just books.
Ending the night surrounded by creative disruptors, artists, and neighbors reminds Courtney why she does this work.
If you're in Chicago, go see what they are creating.
