It was a tough season for E-Skip as most DXers in both North America and Europe have observed. What are your theories as to the lack of activity? Reply with your ideas, even if they are half-baked, and we'll read out favorites on the next episode of the VHF DX Podcast!

Some are saying that the ongoing tropo event across the midwest SURPASSES the great Thanksgiving 1986 opening! I think as far as FM goes, it’s hard to argue! Some of the highlights from today (8/20):
- Bill Hepburn in Grimsby, ON to 91.3 KNCM Appleton MN (824 mi.)
- Chris Kadlec in Fremont, MI to 96.5 KBYZ Bismarck, ND (755 mi.)
That is just a small sampling…and it’s still going!
