My first game, Stonewall Uprising, was recently released and I wanted to post some of the public & private comments I've received here and on BGG.

Today I officially made it to 29 years old!🌞To celebrate here is a thread about Nawalli: The Aztec card game and how much this passion project means to me.
My Kickstarter has 6 days left, Retweeting and/or buying my game would be the greatest gift I could receive✌️

Friendly reminder!! Don’t buy this game!! The people who worked on it have already been paid, this doesn’t need your support. Trans people are more important than a wizard school you can’t let go of. Don’t stab us in the back thanks ❤️
‘Hogwarts Legacy’ is finally available to pre-order.
Learn spells, brew potions, grow plants, get sorted into houses and forge important alliances that will cement your legacy in the wizarding world.

Please get a PCR test if you attended #GenCon. I've now seen multiple folks share they've tested positive who have chosen not to post publicly (yet?), so there are more cases than we know about.

Gen Con 2022 was an incredible special moment in our little company’s journey. Hosting the BIPOC lounge was a dream come true. We were so touched by the outpouring of support and the many words of gratitude during the show. Thank you to everyone that helped us make this happen!❤️

It has been fascinating and a bit sad to observe the @BoardGameGeek thread David Turczi posted about pulling out of Prison Architect. It is being heavily, heavily moderated. Pretty much every voice disagreeing with the decision is being removed. There's a reason for this.

People are still pot-stirring, so I'm going to say it one more time:
1. There is a difference between an artist's freedom of expression and a commercial product's choice of art.
2. Commenting on how either art OR a commercial product makes me feel is not censorship or bullying.

Due to the generosity of our sponsors, the first place prize for the @ZenobiaAward has been increased to $5,000!
You have until Friday to submit your entry. Remember you just need to have a concept at this stage - not a finished design.

For whoever may benefit from this:
It has helped my mental health tremendously avoid setting goals that depend upon controlling others.
"Getting sales", "getting followers", etc. are not things I can control. Spending more time on my work or honing my craft, however, is all me
