Here’s a take: it may come out that the CEO shooter was largely right wing. It doesn’t matter. Not even a little. Billionaire funded rage pundits really want the poors fighting each other on left/right lines about this. Eyes on the prize. No war but class war

"The ‘moderates’ got *their* candidate in every single election in which the Republicans nominated Trump: 2016 Clinton, 2020 Biden, 2024 Harris… and they lost to Trump two out of three times. And now they’re going to blame *the left* for that? No f*cking way." My rant:

"ChatGPT: Argue with this tweet as uncharitably as possible." "ChatGPT: Construct a strawman from my last tweet and argue against it." You can just do one of those instead of ever listening to a reply guy (tm) again. Efficiency!

If the income distribution was the same as it was in 1970 every working American in the bottom 90% would have an extra $1,144 per month, every month, every year.

When they float dumbass bathroom laws in the White House, fight them because anti-trans laws are evil ALSO Pay attention: these dumbass culture war laws are usually cover for really evil but more boring sounding bureaucratic level shit.

When people claim they are apolitical (or “I don’t do politics) They usually mean “I don’t identify with the political teams presented” Which …highly relatable. And arguably good Life in modern society is inescapably political, but a healthy society is politically nonbinary

Partisanship (AKA cult fan club for one and only one team) is a mind fuck. Not all teams are equal (especially now) but the binary apparatus is poison. IMO - aspire higher political consciousness. Step one is divesting of partisanship

The Democrat/republican binary is a clown show. And not what the USA was founded on And if the last eight years taught us anything Is that inescapable “truths” are just norms that require passive indoctrination to maintain Two-party system is only inescapable if we agree

I would never shame or scold a creator who won't/can't leave twitter for whatever reason. Instead, encouragement: on the other site (the blue one), I have 1/10th the followers as on twitter And engagement (likes, RTs, etc) per post are *higher* than here.

Hostile engagement over there is *much* easier to manage. Blocking is easy and complete: hostile actors can't see or engage you at all. Out of sight, out of mind. Incentives for professional trolls are almost nil, reducing their overall presence.
