This snapshot captured me explaining to the audience that in these situations: “I don’t know what to do with my hands.”
After 10 years in VC, it’s clear:
Many founders want to be a VC.
Many VC’s want to be a family office.
Many family offices (especially next gen) want to be a founder and/or VC.
No one enjoys fundraising and the grass isn’t always greener on the other side!

I got randomly paired with two great Tesla engineers. They were fun to play with and I kept them entertained with some of my golf shots, especially this tee shot (volume up).
It was a great time in SF this past week hanging out with Family VC peers. We had a few meetups and joined a fun golf event at Olympic.
