I’m not one to just wait around and hope something falls in my lap, so while waiting and hoping something comes along to fill the FD gap, I’m shedding the sweats and putting on some pants to bring you a new, live, and at least partially funny, weekly show - :58…and Change. First episode, featuring dear friend Eddie Olczyk, premieres Friday, October 23rd on YouTube. Just published the page moments ago! It would awesome if you subscribed: m.youtube.com/@58...andchang…

If you want winners, @DRFPeck gave you Towner Too at $31.28 @keenelandracing R9. I was right on top of the race, too: $595 50-cent tri in a box.

In what will likely be the public handicapping performance of the year, @DailyRacingForm handicapper Scott Ehlers had the Pick 5 cold (on top) in his @LouisianaDowns analysis yesterday, for a cool $16,137. Congratulations @ChiefEhlers!

Just wanna give an update on Florent Geroux just spoke with him. Very good news. Does not need surgery on the broken ribs. Has a kidney that’s functioning 50% does not need any surgery. 🙏🙏 hopefully to be out of the hospital tomorrow if not the next day, I will visit him in the morning.
Thanks Scott! As you know, just need a couple of prices at these short meets @DailyRacingForm
One of the best meets at Toga that I have ever seen. Kenny Peck (@DRFPeck) of the DRF also finished with a flat bet profit. Congrats to both!

I worked with Jim at FIGS Form in ‘89 - a great handicapper and a better mentor and colleague. He always had an angle and never met a longshot he didn’t like. RIP pal - @DRFPeck
Take a Stance ($96.20) in the 6th @Saratoga1863 was the best Best Bet I’ve had in a while in the pages of @DailyRacingForm. The thinking was he was an upgrade two back, the Beyer three back fit, and the race was light on speed. Thanks for the kind messages.
The @DailyRacingForm consensus box now 7-for-13 today after the win by Will Not Be Swayed ($26) in race 13 @Saratoga1863, with 14th and final race pending. Last race top pick Mizertonic is projected to go off at 7-1 by DRF.com.
Il Siciliano ($14.76), a pace upgrade off the Cape Henlopen in his latest, was the third top-pick winner through the first 7 races at @Saratoga1863 for @DailyRacingForm consensus box.

Here's a link to Ralph Rampellini's tribute to his sister, our colleague, Mary Rampellini. It's a wonderful piece, about an impossibly kind woman who had talent, a passion for her work, and a perpetually sunny attitude -- in short, a very special person.
