All hail the District of Columbia, which has trains to take you directly to BOTH airports.
Having a train that takes you directly to the airport is genuinely one of the top 10 things a city can offer. No expensive taxis, no sitting in traffic, no begging someone to drop you off. Just get on the train and arrive at the airport. Every major city should have this.

🛑 Full Video: Long Beach Crowd Turns on ICE, Bullhorn Torta Drags Trash Cans to Block Agents 🛑 This is the full video of yesterday's federal operation in Long Beach, California, where agents detained a man who claims he's a U.S. citizen. As the arrest went down, local residents got aggressive and had to be pepper sprayed. Then the torta with the bullhorn started dragging trash cans into the street to block federal agents. Impeding a federal officer is a crime under 18 U.S.C. § 111, punishable by up to 8 years in federal prison. Activists are already pushing their version of what happened. The full video tells a different story. Bill Essayli (@USAttyEssayli), would you like to make a statement on what really went down? ICE doesn't arrest U.S. citizens for being citizens. If he was detained, there's a reason, and the public deserves to hear it.
🛑 Long Beach Detainee Escapes After "Torta Brigade" Swarms ICE 🛑 ICE agents in Long Beach, California, were taking a woman into custody when the torta brigade showed up to get in their way. The crowd closed in, the agents got boxed in, and the woman slipped away. Impeding a federal officer is a crime under 18 U.S.C. § 111, punishable by up to 8 years in federal prison. That law is supposed to mean something. California is home to about 2.3 million illegal aliens, the most of any state, according to Pew Research. Nationally, FAIR puts the net cost of illegal immigration at more than $150 billion a year. Multiply that by 10x to get a real number for California. And Mullin, afraid of bad headlines, won't let ICE agents use pepper spray on rioters who refuse to back up. It's sad. No one should have to work like this.

UPDATE—New video shows ICE hit man on bike with their unmarked car on purpose. Agents were speeding the wrong way down a one-way street in residential neighborhood. Still no reason given for targeting Ricardo Gonzalez—a U.S. citizen—in the first place.
ICE run over U.S. citizen riding his bike—break his arm. Agents handcuff him behind his back without calling paramedics. They inflict even more injuries—send him to the hospital in serious condition. Then agents detain another U.S. citizen—for yelling at them on the sidewalk. Man with the broken arm's daughter says he was hit on his e-bike by an unmarked car. He was then tased twice and pinned to the ground—currently receiving treatment at the hospital. Multiple ICE vehicles were running through stop signs—speeding the wrong way down one-way streets. All on a weekend afternoon with kids playing outside. Incident occurred near the intersection of East 56th Street & Elm Avenue in Long Beach, California. Stop ICE Net doesn't have an account on this platform—so posting first full length, English translated, and credited video here to help raise awareness.

This is a must-watch to the end. There is so much to unpack here, and this Black man does an exceptional job unpacking it himself while giving Bradenton police a lesson on his rights. On February 8, 2026, he was stopped while riding his bicycle at night in Bradenton, Florida. But the conversation raises an issue far bigger than this one encounter. Walking while Black. Driving while Black. Riding a bike while Black. Our freedom to move through our communities should not depend on whether an officer thinks we belong. When one officer tells him that obeying the law means he won’t have to worry about being pulled over, his response is direct: “I have to stop being Black to stop being pulled over by you.” The answer to concerns about racial profiling cannot simply be “obey the law.” All too often, we know this playbook: Black people treated as suspicious while going about their daily lives. This is not a new concern. It is a documented pattern. Knowing your rights is important. Officers respecting those rights is essential. Toward the end, he explains that he was simply trying to get home with groceries for his mother, who has diabetes, to help care for her. Public safety should protect that ordinary freedom, not make it something Black people have to defend. 🎥: @iamtaylindsey | Florida Cop Cam

T.J. Houshmandzadeh and James Jones called out the Philadelphia Eagles for letting Jalen Hurts play with blood clots and depriving him of sleep for 36 hours. This is a perfect example of why NFL players go to private doctors for second opinions, because team doctors are always going to side with the organization and put you out there even if you're not healthy

Most people in France can't afford housing. They didn't blame immigrants, or transgender people, or video games, or avocado toast. They blame the government. Because that's who's responsible. That's always who's responsible.
