Bioware has been a massive part of CDPR history. We befriended them when localizing and selling Baldur’s Gate games in Poland, Czech, and Slovakia. And later they were great help when lending us their engine for Witcher 1, sharing their wisdom and even giving us a spot at their booth at E3. I had a pleasure to visit them a few times in Edmonton and also host them in our Warsaw office. Very sad for the people affected, but also sad to see a legendary brand go down. Not a great day in the games industry.

The officer writes her a citation for holding a phone in her right hand while driving.
She doesn’t argue.
She doesn’t correct him.
She doesn’t explain anything.
He repeats what he “saw.”
Writes the ticket.
Tells her to take it to court.
She accepts it.
Drives away.

What happens when this gets read out loud in court?

Fantasy Submarine (2016)
Having a boat is cool, but as the game shifted to a "covert commandos" theme, we asked: "What's more covert than a boat?"
Is trying to design a submarine in a fantasy game crazy? Certainly. The idea was just too much fun to not explore.
In the end, even after dressing it up as a sea monster, it was just too anachronistic.

Black Codex (2015) - 3/3
1) The false gods decide to release the full power of the titan souls, which have become twisted with madness in their captivity. Solas tries to stop them.
2) Unable to stop them, Solas instead creates a Veil between the physical world and the magical. He binds the Veil to the blood of the false gods, turning them into the locks on their own prison.
3) Early humans discover the ruins of the elven empire. Using knowledge scavenged from the ruins, Tevinter spreads across Thedas as a crude copy of the elven empire.
4) From their prison in the Veil, the spirits of the titans lure power-hungry Tevinter magisters into the Fade to release them. Instead of a city of gold, they find a Black City. The first Blight is released.
