I was looking forward to participating in and speaking at WebSummit. In light of these comments that show a complete lack of moral clarity, I have no choice but to cancel my participation. I know I am joining several other people in making this decision.
I unequivocally condemn the actions of terrorists in targeting civilians, and I fully support the right and obligation of the Israeli government to defend its people in accordance with international law and humanitarian principles. I expect responsible public figures such as yourself to do the same.

My college friend, former colleague, and mentor @htaneja is at the White House among a very select group of SV folk meeting PM Modi and President Biden.
I have known him to be reserved regarding personal stuff on social media for 15+ years so I will say this for him: it is so f'ing awesome! This immigrant boy from New Delhi fully earned his seat on that table. He is a brilliant mind, and hustled and worked hard for more than 2 decades to now rank as a most prominent VC in SV.
