It's an honour to be featured and to appear on the cover of this wonderful book about translators! I feel privileged to have clients who appreciate my work and who truly want to #MoveTheWorldWithWords!

Although it is obvious, due to the amount of tweets I'm posting, I wanted to confirm officially that I am no longer using this platform. When I first joined Twitter, it was a platform to connect people, while now it's a tool for clashing and fake news...
Happy hashtag#InternationalTranslationDay! Today is a very special day. It's a day that celebrates the contribution of translators with our (often invisible) work, but it also marks the anniversary of my start as a freelance translator (11 years ago). Here's to 11 more!
And... I have just completed my first Christmas translation of 2024! It's definitely my earliest one to date! 😄
The #iticonf2024 may have finished, but making the most of Edinburgh. Meeting clients, making contacts for my #WhiskyTranslations and fitting in CPD and networking at the Holyrood Distillery, since I missed out on it with my fellow translators on Monday... Busy but productive day
And that's a wrap up of the #ITIConf2024! What an amazing event! Fantastic venue, outstanding speakers and a fantastic atmosphere! It's always great to catch up with old friends and make new ones! See you in 2026! (Already trying to guess where it may be held!)
End of the first day of #ITIConf2024! (apart from the Gala Dinner) And it was fantastic! Haven't tweeted much since I've been too busy networking and attending great sessions! That's a very good sign!
#ITIConf2024 has just started, loving the buzz! It's great to catch up with old friends and finally meet some colleagues face to face :)
Starting the journey from Spain to the #ITIConf2024! I will be there in a few hours! (unfortunately too late for the welcome drinks) - Looking forward to it!
After passing the previous level last year (CSP), I'm happy to announce I'm now a Certified Whisky Specialist! It took a lot of work and studying, but it was worth it! CPD is key to provide the best translations! #CertifiedWhiskySpecialist #WhiskyTranslations #SpiritsTranslations
I have read a lot about the implications of ChatGPT for the language industry... However, the development of AI technology is going to shake up every single industry out there... Some of the uses below are amazing and even scary...
Very interesting report by RWS (rws.com/about/global-underst…): "89% of survey respondents say it’s important to be able to deal with companies online in their own language"
Just voted for @ITIUK's Board election, democracy is so easy nowadays! Just sitting at my desk while sipping my morning coffee... 😁☕️
Yesterday I delivered my first Christmas-related translation(!)... Does it mean it's acceptable to start listening to Xmas tunes yet? 😄🎄
Missing the vibe of meeting colleagues face to face, but the tweets make me feel I'm there. Those Fish & Chips by the sea look epic! #ITIConf22
I'm excited to announce that I'll be speaking at this year's Global Ready Conference on a panel alongside other Smartling translators! Join us on April 12th to learn more about what it's like to be a translator with Smartling: smartling.com/conference. #GlobalReady

Happy #InternationalWomensDay! I feel lucky to have pursued a career in languages, an industry where most of my classmates & professors at uni and current colleagues are women. I've met many inspiring women throughout my career who I deeply admire and who deserve more recognition
