Motorcycle Accident (Ellis County) Midlothian Engine 3, Medic 3, Truck 1, Battalion 1, and MPD are working a major accident in the 3500 block of Mountain View Drive. Reported to be a motorcycle involved with possible fatality on scene. CareFlite helicopter has been launched and will be landing at a nearby church at FM 875 and FM 663 to airlift a second patient from the scene.

Structure Fire w/ Injuries (Hood County) FDs and Texas EMS are working a structure fire in the 6000 block of Hunterwood Drive. CareFlite has launched two helicopters to the scene and will be landing both at Mambrino Baptist Church.

At around 11:15pm, Arlington FD Engine 8 and Tower 8 were dispatched to a smoke investigation at an apartment in the 2700 block of Furrs Street. Firefighters found smoke pushing out an apartment door and forced entry. Fire was located in the kitchen and the occupant was found unconscious inside. Tower 8 pulled the victim out and was transported to a hospital in critical condition.

On September 25, 2026, at approximately 12:38 p.m., Dallas Police officers located a suspect known to have warrants in the 9600 block of Walnut Street. The preliminary investigation determined that officers attempted to stop the suspect, the suspect sped off. With the assistance of a Texas Department of Public Safety trooper who pursued the suspect, officers followed until the suspect wrecked out in the 1600 block of north Highway 67 in Midlothian. On Friday, September 25, at 11:08 a.m., Dallas Fire-Rescue units were dispatched in response to multiple 911 calls reporting a major accident on the Dallas North Tollway (southbound) at W. Northwest Highway. DFR confirms that the accident involved a total of six (6) vehicles, including an 18-wheeler which rolled onto its side. There were three people (a man and a woman in their 30’s, and another woman in her 20’s) taken to the hospital from the accident. They were all in stable condition with non-life-threatening injuries. DFR’s Hazardous Materials Team was dispatched to the call to address ruptured saddle tanks, from the 18-wheeler, which spilled approximately 170 gallons of diesel. Additionally, there were a number of totes in the back of the 18-wheeler carrying miscellaneous fluids, like used cooking oil, that HazMat technicians had to stop from leaking. Currently, all Southbound lanes of the Tollway are closed from Walnut Hill Lane to Northwest Highway, as the North Texas Tollway Authority (NTTA) has assumed control of the scene and will address remaining clean-up so the roadways can be reopened.
