Master Sgt. Nicole Amor of White Bear Lake was killed in Kuwait. Her husband, Joey — who I have gotten to know well in the worst of circumstances and have worked with him to push for answers — asked JD Vance how this administration will hold leaders accountable for the failures that led up to it.
Vance said it was “literally the first time I’ve heard of this.”
Our servicemembers and their families deserve better. Joey and the families of all those who were lost that day deserve answers. They WILL get them.

Here's the most important detail about mid-20s former @HawleyMO staffer Tommy Teepell getting his ass handed to him by @AbdulElSayed.
Teepell's Daddy was just offering people $200 to make just THOSE KINDS of stupid comments.
Tommy is a paid agitator and he STILL stepped all over his own dick.
Bobby Jindal’s dark money group offered to pay people $200 to “coordinate questions” at an @AbdulElSayed town hall in Flint, with the hopes of generating negative news coverage for him, according to Mike Rogers campaign surrogate Iman Dashti.

Jan is a chief CBS reporter. She tweeted this about Tommy, the Republican operative accusing Abdul El-Sayed of terrorism, then deleted it. Zero integrity.
And Zero questions about Tommy declaring he wants the Bible to supersede the Constitution.

You can tell he thought they’d just kick him out and he had zero plan to actually engage in a conversation. As soon as @AbdulElSayed answered the question and began pushing back he was stumbling. He wouldn’t even give his name at the beginning cause he knew his ass was cooked lmfao.

This is so perfect. Honestly, I thought "Tommy" was a plant by the way he walked off at the end. Abdul El-Sayed just looks too good here.
But after looking it up, I learned he was a former Josh Hawley staffer.
This is the most inspiring performance by an American politician that I can remember seeing.
El-Sayed was faced with a bigoted question. He didn't hide from it or pander. He broke down why it was a bigoted question, and gave a stirring defense of American principles and the Constitution.
At the end, his interlocutor wouldn't condemn Christian Nationalism! El-Sayed has a perfect response to this, and "everybody clapped."
A lot of us have had this experience of arguing with right-wingers, questioning them, and then finding out that they have no principles, they're just bigots. A Hawley staffer will talk about the US Constitution and freedom of religion to attack a Muslim politician, and sing a completely different tune when it comes to Christian fundamentalists.
Again, the "everybody clapped" nature of this, followed by Tommy walking off in shame, made me think that he was a plant.
But no. This was a real-life rightoid, getting exposed as the hateful, hypocritical bigot that he is in front of the entire world.
Abdul El-Sayed's rise in American politics has made me a lot more optimistic about our future.

"Tommy" is not a voter. He is a Hawley staffer, not from Michigan, paid to pose as a voter and told to ask only the one question over and over. An empty suit, an embarrassment to the GOP. But not to you!

Turns out Tommy was a plant and is working to push a disgusting false narrative about Abdul.
Tommy, who worked as Josh Hawley’s ops director, is the son of Bobby Jindal’s longtime COS, Tim Teepell, who is listed as the principal for Breakthrough LLC. This month, Jindal’s dark money group paid $250,000 to Breakthrough LLC, for influencer marketing opposing Abdul El-Sayed.

Anyway, Tommy listened to too many right-wing podcasts and Sunday sermons.

Surprise, surprise. Not! The Islamophobe MAGA bigot who was schooled by Democratic Senate nominee Abdul El-Sayed at a town hall this weekend has been exposed as a former GOP staffer with 'Christian nationalist ties.'
A Christofascist and white supremacist, Tommy Teepell served as the Operations Director for Missouri Republican Senator Josh Hawley until February of this year.

Tommy isn’t a “young kid”
He’s a Republican political director
Abdul continues to hide who he is as he beats up a young kid.
His faith isn’t the issue. His ideas are.
He wrote an oped urging Americans to support the Muslim Brotherhood if they took over Egypt. After they took over, he publicly called for the MB to purge the police and the media of those who oppose the MB. That’s right - purge.
He calls Israel “bloodthirsty”. Who talks like that?
When a Hezbollah inspired terrorist in tried to blow up a synagogue in Michigan, Abdul justified it by explaining, “hurt people hurt people.” The terrorist’s brother was a Hezbollah commander in Lebanon who had been killed by Israel.
Abdul’s mother was a MB member, his sister supported the 10/7 Hamas massacre of Jews and the Obama Administration put Abdul’s sister in law on the terrorist watch list.
Alone among American candidates, the Muslim Brotherhood issued a statement celebrating Abdul’s win in the D primary.
I don’t know what Abdul is. But I know he’s a risk America can’t afford.
