This is one of the many amazing grants and projects I get to be a part of here at the Donald Danforth Plant Science Center. As a Co-PI, I get to foster a cutting edge, evidenced based education, diversifying, outreach/engagement and training program across multiple institutions.
.@NSF has awarded the Center a 5-year $12.5M grant to support a new institute to advance the restoration of natural and agricultural ecosystems, called the New Roots for Restoration Biology Integration Institute. Dr. @ajmiller4233 will serve as Director.

While Renee Dale, PhD, postdoc in the Baxter & Topp labs, was in grad school she came up with an idea to develop a plant & mathematical biology video game to help students who might be experiencing math anxiety.
