Here’s a little bit about me. My parents came to America from Mexico as immigrants many years ago. My dad left us at a young age leaving all of us behind forcing me to work at a young age to be able to help my mom. We were homeless many times jumping from place to place knowing no one wanted us there. Fast forward graduating high school, I had to make a choice to either continue going to school or joining the military. I joined the military to help my family since I had no other choice. I would send my paychecks back home as I lived in the barracks and food was provided for me. One of my battle buddies showed me his Robinhood account with $7,000 USD in there. At that time, I thought that was a lot of money, it intrigued me to the point where i went home that night to download the app and understand how he had that much money. Remember, I am from a low income family where we were homeless many times so I thought that was a lot of money. As latinos, we are taught at a young age that average is good. That lit a fire in my heart. I got a night shift part-time job at Amazon to slowly invest back into the market. It all paid off when I hit $AMC for over $40,000 as an E-2 in the military. This is thanks to MrZackMorris who called it below $3.00. The rest is history. Bought my dream cars, have multiple real estate properties, and most importantly; retired my mom. Nothing in life comes easy. I chose the hardest path and I am okay with that. Hard work will always pay off.
