A shockingly poor response by this gov. They were warned all summer that this was going to be a tough winter - they were advised to develop a vaccination(prevention) plan. They didn't. They've been warned for years about bed shortages. Nothing being done. A failing grade...

Nothing says “we’re proud of our work and happy to run on our record” quite like being so scared of the electorate you prohibit anyone else from using the word “conservative.” 🙄 I know plenty of conservatives who don’t feel the UCP represents them. #ableg

Tonight, 32 yrs ago Rt Hon Jean Chretien became Prime MInister of Canada, beginning 3 consecutive majority governments that would pay off #Mulroney’s 43 bill dollar deficit in 3yrs, & leave a remarkable legacy of 10 surplus budgets freeing Canada from 2nd world financial status.

People who do- or follow science change their minds as new information warrants. Ideologues don't change their minds in light of new information. They look for 'gotcha' moments when science people change their minds. That's the tell.

SK teachers continue to be the lowest paid in western Canada. In Manitoba a teacher with a B. Ed is a class 5 and in Saskatchewan they are a Class 4 (same teachers) A 10 year highly qualified experienced teacher is making $12000 dollars more a year in Manitoba than Sk

If you're an AB and think UCP is concerned about the rights of Albertans within Canada, consider the fact that you can go to BC to get a free Covid shot but can't get one for less than $100+ in in the province where you live and pay taxes.

The UCP really are an absurdity of a government. Smith lecturing cities about bike lanes while health care burns to the ground is a whole new low. #abpoli #ableg

Unsurprisingly, I note the distinct absence of Danielle Smith, Doug Ford and Scott Moe. The three Premiers most committed to the total destruction of public healthcare.
Canada’s Premiers met with the Canadian Nurses Association this morning. Nurses are the backbone of our healthcare system—especially in remote and northern communities. Thank you to all nurses for your skill, care, and dedication.

The town of Jasper’s Mayor was constantly begging for help from The UCP government, and he was told , he was exaggerating and didn’t know what he was talking about. The result, one of the most failed provincial government acts in Canadian History. They completely failed Jasper.
“The report says Smith's United Conservative Party government complicated the response by regularly requesting information and by attempting to make decisions despite not having jurisdiction.”
