OpenAI employees are publicly acknowledging that we could see one or two new model launches before Christmas.
However, the major flagship they're preparing might not be among them, as it still needs to go through government testing, distribution to partners, and only then a broader public release.
The good news? Multiple new models are coming. Multiple, as in plural, just like I told you a week ago.
The bad news? The most powerful one might still be 2 or 3 months away. In the meantime, we'll probably be getting the smaller variants first.

My bitaxe gamma just got in today from @DCentralTech. It is already connected and solo mining to my own instance of public pool running locally on my umbrel node.

Just listened to @GrassFedBitcoin on @BTCsessions' Xmas show.
Mechanic, can we build a pool of @CanadianBTCPod listeners? @DCentralTech made branded #bitaxes, and a group pool would be amazing.
Would anyone else interested in joining a pool like this?

Just got my 601 from @DCentralTech 🙏
Need to start tinkering
First new thing: ASIC temp is now directly from ASIC, not from another IC
Temp shows -1C at boot up & fluctuates +/-5C easily
Need to test if better heatsink will stablize temp

The Bitaxe Hex just arrived. It's up and running on Public Pool. Thanks @DCentralTech, @skot9000, @Public_Pool_BTC, and everyone else who has and continues to contribute. I know it's still a work in progress, but it's an excellent step forward.

The lively Mining panel, moderated by @CountBTC, featured Dirty Coin director @AlanaMediavilla, Anthony Desjardins from @DCentralTech, Alex Royce from @FoundryServices, and Bitfarms’ Senior Vice President of Corporate Development, Philippe Fortier. Thanks to all who attended and stuck around to chat.

The @btc_montreal meetups are amazing. The mining panel was great, but the real thing that made last night's event special was the energy in the room. @BullBitcoin_,@PantiesBitcoin, @DCentralTech, @coinbeastmedia and others have built something very, very special.
