Larping being colonised to try and revive an independent state that spent centuries of pre-unification independence subjugating the highlands and islands. Also in the news in this week BBC Alba Gaelic content slashed to 22% and highland healthcare to be run from Glasgow.

Hate that we live in a timeline where Miss Piggy has to post Instagram tributes to a bestie (Dolly Parton) and an ex-lover (Tim Curry) within a 24-hour span

My feed is central belt nationalists weaponising unionist subsidy arguments to justify poor investment in remote and rural communities across Scotland. Yet they’ll be the first to boast the revenue benefits of oil, gas, whisky, renewables, aquaculture etc… Irony is dead.

In an alternate universe the Highlands and Islands would never have been assimilated into the lowland Scottish state and we would be a stinking rich petro state of half a million teuchters.
Scotland could have been ‘embarrassingly rich’ but Westminster blocked it – here’s the proof

This makes no sense… An MP can wake up one morning, ditch the party you elected them for, & sign up to a completely different manifesto… And we’re supposed to be ok with that? Nah If they defect to a different party, we should get a vote Sign the petition & help make that law. petition.parliament.uk/petit…

Since Keir Starmer banned puberty blockers, 15 trans children on the waiting list have lost their lives to suicide. Before his ban, only 1 did. Keir Starmer and Wes Streeting murdered these children. Sir Keir doesn't give a flying fuck about suicidal people. He wants us dead.
Last year I met with @3dadswalking who each lost a daughter to suicide. Hearing their stories was heartbreaking. My government is protecting young people in school and online with better mental health support made more accessible through our Plan for Change.

Let’s go one by one with each right currently in the UK. 1. “Separate facilities for men and women, except where each toilet or changing room is in a separate room lockable from the inside.” This is clarified as not “biologically” male or female and is worded specifically to include trans people and how they identify. Trans people are statistically safer using the bathroom and changing spaces of their acquired gender. Yet as a general rule are also statistically 4x more likely to be assaulted in public spaces. The government is currently aiming to change this to exclude trans people. 2. The NHS 18-week Referral to Treatment (RTT) standard means that patients who are referred for non-urgent, consultant-led treatment should start that treatment within 18 weeks of their referral date. This is a constitutional right outlined in the NHS Constitution. Currently trans people face waiting times of up to 8 years for treatment which includes simple things like therapy for gender incongruence. People are dying on these waiting lists because the torment of untreated gender dysphoria (transition or not) can cause mental health issues. 3. The right not to be discriminated against in employment is a fundamental legal protection in many jurisdictions, including the UK and other countries. It generally means that employers cannot treat job applicants or employees less favorably than others because of certain personal characteristics, known as protected characteristics. These characteristics typically include age, disability, gender reassignment, marriage and civil partnership, pregnancy and maternity, race, religion or belief, sex, and sexual orientation. Currently trans people face an unemployment rate of ~14-22%. Transgender people experience higher rates of unemployment and are more likely to be out of the workforce compared to cisgender individuals. Studies indicate that transgender individuals are more than twice as likely to be unemployed, despite higher application rates for transgender individuals. For example, studies found that a much higher rate of transgender individuals were unemployed compared to 7% of the general population. Studies show this disparity is often attributed to discrimination and bias in hiring and workplace practices based upon preconceptions from wide spread anti trans media and how rhetoric on social media affect general population bias. 4. The Gender Recognition Act 2004 (GRA) allows transgender people to legally change their sex by obtaining a Gender Recognition Certificate (GRC) based up strict guidelines (including a formal dysphoria diagnoses). This certificate legally recognizes the individual's "acquired gender" for all purposes, meaning they have the right (by law) to be treated bureaucratically as their acquired gender in legal, social and official contexts. This new Supreme Court undermines this right and is a noticeable and prominent step back for compassionate and empathy based equality that had previously been held for decades without issue. At the end of the day. This anti trans hysteria has been manufactured by right wing bigots and pushed broadly through conservative media outlets to create factually incorrect preconceived notions of trans people and the struggles they face daily. Being trans is not a choice, it’s inherent; like sexuality or eye, hair and skin colour. Nobody would choose this. Nobody would choose to be a social pariah and face daily stigma and discrimination just to wear a pretty dress or use the women’s changing rooms. We just want to use the spaces that keep us the safest. These are all fact and are not opinion. This is happening whether you choose to believe it or not, I’m going to give you the benefit of the doubt and assume you’re intelligent enough to read this and digest it in an unbiased manner. Although I don’t have high hopes tbh.
Exactly what “rights” do trans people lack ??? As far as I can see you enjoy the exact same rights as everyone else.

Just landed in Heathrow Airport T3. Went into M&S. Three staff working. I asked them “Do you speak-a-my language?” They just smiled and gave me a Vegemite sandwich. I’m not a Man from Down Under. I have their names and a voice recording. We must confront them every time.

These tweets are bangers when my NHS dentist is a 180 mile, 6 hour return train journey, away.
I need dental care. There is not a single dentist within a 20 mile radius offering NHS care. If you can go private you’ll be seen the same week. Dental care has been fully privatised via stealth in this country.
