This reminds me of the time a few of my friends and I were talking about finding a hobby with a community. I joked about us joining the Freemasons and my friends were like 'you know they don't accept women, right?' Truly the first time being trans has ever negatively affected me
We will robustly defend our decision to require officers and staff to declare if they are Freemasons.
Our response to the decision by the Grand Lodge of England to seek an injunction blocking the implementation of the policy is below.
ALT Two thirds of officers and staff surveyed agree that this policy is needed. We think the majority of the public would also agree. There have been calls going back a number of years for the role of Freemasonry in policing to be properly addressed, including as a recommendation in the report of the Daniel Morgan Independent Panel. We strongly believe that failing to act on these calls would further damage trust not only among the public but also other officers and staff. Victims should be able to know that when they report allegations to us, the officers investigating have been transparent about any potential conflicts of interest. Similarly, officers and staff should be able to know that when they report wrongdoing by colleagues it will be investigated on its merits with no opportunity for secret loyalties to play any part. We must prioritise the maintenance of vital trust and confidence over any organisation’s desire to maintain secrecy.

Since Keir Starmer banned puberty blockers, 15 trans children on the waiting list have lost their lives to suicide. Before his ban, only 1 did.
Keir Starmer and Wes Streeting murdered these children. Sir Keir doesn't give a flying fuck about suicidal people. He wants us dead.
Last year I met with @3dadswalking who each lost a daughter to suicide.
Hearing their stories was heartbreaking.
My government is protecting young people in school and online with better mental health support made more accessible through our Plan for Change.
