Photo from a Facebook group complaining about the way a car is parked.

"Why isn't there yellow lines?".
Don't know about you, but I'm tired of seeing signage and road markings over our most pretty streets.
How about introduce common sense and courtesy instead?
Floating bus stops....
Why do people who suggest it's problematic for disabled people to cross a cycle path ignore the fact that anyone on the opposite side of the road will struggle to even reach the bus stop?
Oh, of course, that would inconvenience drivers.
Charlatans.

In London women cyclists get killed by drivers more often because they are less likely to jump reds.
Killing time watching dashcam videos today.
It's frankly amazing more aren't killed on our roads.
I'll never understand is how the media have successfully hoodwinked so much of the population into thinking everyone is the problem except drivers.

Nobody hates cyclists more than a cyclist with a superiority complex.
That's why people like Ediz exist.
Yesterday's incident at the zoo is desperately sad and I'm so sorry for the poor man and his family.
It has however reinforced my view that some people make stuff up to get angry (poppy rage etc).
Despite many comments suggesting otherwise, absolutely nobody is mad at the tiger
I recently got grief for suggesting most roads are wide enough for contraflow cycling and that those against the idea should argue for country lanes to be one way.
This video demonstrates why some roads are fine for cyclists, but unsuitable for drivers.

We often hear:
"I stopped going to the pub, it's too expensive".
"I cancelled Sky, it's too expensive"
Etc.
What we don't hear enough is:
"I reduced my driving, it's too expensive"
Why?
Because while people still drive journeys they could've walked, it's not too expensive
It seems any suggestion anyone makes to improve cyclist safety is met with a barrage of vitriol from entitled drivers.
Spoiler alert ⚠️
Most suggestions made aren't exactly ground breaking - most exist in Europe already.
It's only the UK where people rage about these things.
Hi-viz is utterly pointless when we have to share the roads with inattentive drivers.
𝗠𝗼𝘁𝗼𝗻𝗼𝗿𝗺𝗮𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗶𝘁𝘆:
🦺 They tell us to wear hi-viz.
💡 They tell us to have lights.
👀 They tell us to be seen.
🫵 They tell us 'road safety is a shared responsibility'.
Meanwhile, in #motordom:
Here's why cyclists can't win.
Truck driver is grateful that the cyclist jumped onto an empty pavement to help traffic flow.
My guess is that the same trucker likely complains about cyclists being on pavements.

Another great example of just how space-efficient bikes are compared with cars. 🚲
I'm not suprised that the anti-cyclist user @s70gad has been involved in crimes against children.
I'd previously told him his profile bio of having a "dad bod" and being "cheeky" was frankly creepy.
We know the accounts he associated with - lets hope police bring them down too.
anti cycling nut @s70gad aka @5711_640 was "accused of arranging or facilitating the commission of a child sex offence and of sexual assault against a child" Don't know what specific crimes he was found guilty though but this is his sentence.

Mad how motorists won't think twice about close passing a cyclist at high speed, yet they'll slow down to walking speed when there's even a slight chance of damaging their car
This guy is no friend of the disabled. Quite the opposite - he exploits disabled people for his own anti-cycling agenda.
