MacAllister’s rep as a “technical” midfielder is so misplaced. Must be because he won a World Cup and is diminutive. Lacks calmness. Lacks consistent execution in passing. He is also poor off-the-ball so he doesn’t actually do anything to a Champions League calibre. Giveaway for Brentford goal is typical of him making a brain frazzled pass despite this rep as “technical”. He is a big root cause issue for Liverpool in terms of both keeping out goals and scoring them.

Yeah you can talk about the injuries but I rather a player that’s available 75-80% of the time and consistently delivers than the complete incompetence we have in attack.
