Isak 5 goals in 6 PL games. Arsenal can only dream of having a finisher like that. Yeah you can talk about the injuries but I rather a player that’s available 75-80% of the time and consistently delivers than the complete incompetence we have in attack. World-class.

I said it at the time - moving to Real Madrid other than prestige was not the best move for him. Zero UCLs and zero Ballon d'Or titles attest to that. Arsenal would have built the attack around him and he would be going for a UCL three peat right now instead of PSG.

Brighton high-press and zero minutes for Lewis-Skelly makes no sense to me. Someone that can turn away and evade from the pressure but can also manipulate the press to our advantage. This was a game for him. Zero minutes? Come on. Yesterday was so bad on every level ffs.

They needed that, this idea you can rock up and win in 3rd gear is not going to run in the PL. Just awful, including the manager btw. Took too long to make subs and when he did got it wrong (Dowman and Skelly instead of Zubi/Merino). Now we have to eat this for 3 weeks.

It’s not about losing his spot, Kai started plenty of games over him last season too yet Gyok’s application and body language was still top. It’s about the fact we tried to trade him to Atletico and he knows it - when it dawns on you that you’re not good enough. It has to hurt.

What a signing Konsa has been. In all my years supporting Arsenal I’ve never seen a player slot in so seamlessly in every way. The fit tactically, the camaraderie, the physicality, fight and attitude he brings. I thought we overpaid but actually it was a bargain. Incredible.

Arsenal are the only team playing 4 games in 10 days over the holiday period. The other 19 teams do not. I’m sure it’s not the PL realizing we aren’t leaving London during this period and thinking “how can we minimize this advantage?” I’m sure it’s just a coincidence.

What a day for it. Total domination. Physically and technically a completely mismatch. Chelsea are pretenders, the gulf in quality was laid bare for all to see. There’s levels to this. Arsenal just too good and now with Championship swagger will be virtually impossible to top.

I’m glad the window is done and over with. They screwed up and deserve criticism but I’m over it. I just want to focus on the football now and we still have plenty to get excited about. Huge game against Chelsea coming up can’t wait for a derby atmosphere and a big statement.

I’ve tried to remain calm throughout the window in the hope that the club would follow up on their promises of ambition made by the owners. One kick away from winning the holy grail and they followed it up with one needle moving signing. Arteta has been massively let down and will be expected to work miracles again. Simple as that.
