Idea bank: a confidential order book DEX. On-chain order books leak the book, so market makers can't quote real size. AMMs removed the book to hide it, which is why institutions don't use them. Run a real CLOB with quotes sealed in L2FhEX.

Many "compliance-friendly L1s" just mean KYC'd validators and a permissioned RPC. that is a private network with a token. Compliance is a cryptographic property: an authorised party verifies an output without holding the input. that is what cubane ships.

Regulated institutions want public-chain rails without the exposure. PMBs are sovereign namespaces: your own encrypted execution zone, with its own validators and access controls, settling deterministically on the cubane mainnet.

Most L1 tokens are emission-driven, so demand sits on narrative rather than usage. $CUBS is different. enterprise revenue from confidential execution buys CUBS on the open market: half to validators, half burned. The more the network is used, the tighter supply gets.

The hybrid mirror model leaves an enterprise's ERP or cloud database as the system of record and writes a cryptographic mirror on-chain, so nothing has to migrate before a pilot can start. Computation against that mirror produces a verifiable result without moving the underlying records anywhere, the audit trail becomes public; the data behind it doesn't.

Most useful financial questions are joins. Does this counterparty appear on that sanctions list? Which of our policyholders are also covered under a reinsurer's treaty? Where do two desks' positions overlap before either one discloses its book? Each of these needs two datasets that their owners cannot share. Today the answer is a trusted intermediary, a data room, or no answer at all. Cubane executes relational queries over encrypted data. Both tables stay sealed. The join runs inside the execution layer, matching rows are identified without being revealed, and the only output is the result each party is entitled to see. No plaintext reaches the counterparty, the operator, or the chain. The clip above is that primitive: two sealed tables, one join, one verified result. This is what we mean by encrypted relational execution. It lets regulated institutions compute together on-chain without giving up the confidentiality their obligations require. Testnet is coming. If your team has a join, it cannot run today, we would like to hear what it is.

Every major stablecoin exposes the same surface: every balance and transfer indexed by anyone with an RPC endpoint. Idea bank: an encrypted stablecoin. Balances hidden in L2FhEX, reserves attested by selective proofs a regulator can verify.

Aleo raised close to $298M to build a private-by-default L1 on a UTXO-inspired zkVM with its own language, Leo, and it's live on mainnet — real execution, real funding, real users. The UTXO model that gives Aleo its privacy guarantee is also what makes stateful, multi-party enterprise logic — the kind with foreign keys and running balances — awkward to express in it.

Oasis has run TEE-based confidential contracts in production since 2020, the longest operating track record of any confidential chain on this list. Four years of hardening also means four years of exposure to whatever gets found in Intel SGX next; Secret Network carries the same dependency through Cosmos.

Fhenix extends Solidity with encrypted types (euint32, ebool) so an existing Ethereum developer can add confidential state without learning a new language, genuinely the easiest FHE onboarding path in the ecosystem today. It also inherits Ethereum's gas market and throughput ceiling, and stacks FHE compute cost on top of Ethereum gas, which raises the price of encrypted execution exactly where enterprise volume would need it cheapest.

Canton keeps data private through domain isolation between known, legally accountable validators, Goldman Sachs, BNY Mellon, and a handful of others control what gets seen and by whom. That's enforcement by contract and reputation, and it holds inside one jurisdiction. Cross-border, multi-regulator settlement needs a guarantee that doesn't depend on every party staying cooperative.

Inco pairs Intel TEEs for fast execution with an FHE path for the fully trustless case, and ships EVM compatibility to lower the onboarding barrier for existing Solidity developers. The tradeoff shows up at the edges: TEE security rests on Intel's hardware not being compromised, Spectre and SGX side-channel exploits are documented, not hypothetical and EVM itself has no primitives for encrypted state.

Miden's client-side proving model lets a user compute locally and submit only a STARK proof that the computation was correct — the chain verifies the proof, never the inputs. That protects what was computed, not the values inside it. An encrypted join across two counterparties' balances is outside what a proof-of-correctness system was built to do.

In 1992, sterling fell to a short position the Bank of England could not outspend. India's first tokenized bonds sit on a ledger where the RBI sees every position. That protects the rupee. It also keeps the world's capital out.

CCCM validates in parallel cube clusters and orders blocks against proofs rather than raw transaction contents, so a validator confirms that a computation was done correctly without ever seeing what was computed. No mempool means no place for a bot to sit and watch pending transactions, frontrunning needs a queue to front-run, and this design removes the queue.
